Old look
This is my first tutorial, so please point out things I could have elaborated on.
This is the icon we'll be making.
This is for psp7, and I'm not all that familiar with ps, but the steps are basic so it should translate...
I used this base, buy
fire_rag
1) Created a new layer and filled it with a dark blue. (I used #000040)
2) Set Layer 1 to exclusion
3) Created another layer on top of the blue one and filled it with a tan/brown colour. (I used #AE957C)
4) Set Layer 2 to colour
5) I picked up this gradient somewhere (not sure where)
set to overlay.
6) Used this base bydisappearicons
Set to overlay
7) Added "To tired to" in Menuetto 11pt and "Care" in Monotype Corsiva 16pt
Play around with the opacity for varied results. For instance, if you set the brush bydisappearicons to 55%, you get a different, more aged-paper effect.
