Itchy and Scratchy
So that's what a systemic reaction to an allergy shot feels like.
Thankfully, it was not the "stop breathing" kind of reaction. This was more a "my ENTIRE BODY but especially my scalp and throat and inner ears itches like crazy" thing, two hours after the shot (because why would it show up in the waiting room during the time they make me wait), and Benadryl calmed things down nicely.
I suspect I'll be stepping down a dose or two on Monday.
