Man, anesthesia has improved since I had my wisdom teeth out 12 years ago. My surgery was over by 2, and after a short crying spell I was totally lucid for the car ride home at 4. I suspect the pain meds coming my way will change that in short order, but it's nice now. I'm not even in all that much pain. So far, so good!
