MISSION
The International Center facilitates international engagement at UCI to enhance the academic and personal experience of the international community. The International Center staff is committed to serving campus community through advising, immigration services, programming, advocacy and outreach.
WHAT WE DO
- Provide expert immigration services, including visa documentation, interpreting immigration regulations and related advising and SEVIS compliance
- Advising services to academic departments on issues related to the enrollment and visa selection for the employment of international students and scholars
- Serve as liaison between international students and scholars and with institutional, local, state and federal agencies
- Provide pre-arrival advising, orientation and adjustment assistance for international students and scholars and their families
- Implement programs and activities to provide students, scholars, staff and faculty the opportunity to engage in intercultural learning while fostering skills and knowledge related to international education.
