So on Thursday, I went to the councilor who diagnosed one of my sisters' depression and one of my other sisters' bipolar disorder. She confirmed what I'd been thinking for a while, and I'm now on ADD meds. Luckily, we were able to get the prescription in and filled before I was supposed to leave to go back to Ohio this morning (but that's a whole other story, involving Atlanta and snowstorms and extra day here in sunny Savannah), and so I started taking Focalin this morning. So! I was in a realj posting mood because I can and you all obviously want to have your flist cluttered with Hydok's adventures in drugs.

For this little story, imagine My Brain as a cross between Dug from UP and this guy. My Body is sort of like him but bossier.

So I get up and take this lovely little pill that makes odd rattling noises and has an icky throat-sticking capsule (though that might be only because I dry-swallow all my pills ~~BECAUSE I AM A MAN~~ for some unknown reason). Then I go about my daily business, which happened to be getting sister number 7 ready for her 3rd birthday, and helping all the other little terrors clean their rooms.

Eventually, My Body picks up on something being odd and is just like . My Brain is working on making breakfast for me and three siblings and also OH THE BIRD IS SINGING and the cat wants food.

Then suddenly My Brain goes "OH WAIT I AM HAVING A GOOD THINKY DAY I CAN THINK SO GOOD TODAY LET'S DO ALL THE HOMEWORK FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS JUST BECAUSE WE CANNNNN 8DDDDDDD ." Then I inform Brain that there is no homework so we can just be happy because IT IS A GOOD THINKY DAY IT IS!!!1!

Body realises that Brain is having a good thinky day. Brain goes WAIT I DID NOT SCHEDULE A GOOD THINKY DAY TODAY!!! In fact I did not schedule a good thinky day until.... March. You are not allowed more than one good thinky day a semester."

Brain counters with the utterly logical "BUT I AM HAVING A GOOD THINKY DAY I AM!!!!!1!"

Body's response?

Okay, not quite that bad, but more like "FORBIDDEN! I will now proceed to do what I can to cancel this good thinky day because it was unplanned". Body then has fun with headrushes, diziness, headaches, and some nausea in an attempt to cancel good thinky day. Brain continues to have good thinky day.

Hopefully, Body will begin to accept that Brain is allowed to have good thinky days without Body's approval and will stop picking and choosing from the list of common side affects and Hydok can have ALL THE GOOD THINKY DAYS ALL OF THEM and get a 4.0 YESSSSSSSS

Trick-or-Treat Game! (Jacked from bunches of people)

As much as it pains me to admit it (and the whole thing, not just the movie):

Why?

Because it was great. Sure, the plot was different from the manga, but come on. Resurrections, rotting zombie-immortals, cyborgs, fast-paced action, and of course the giant plothole to Germany that makes ALL CROSSOVERS POTENTIAL CANON.

Updates:
I do have more internet than I thought I was going to have. However, it's still very limited. No meebo, limited plurk, very slowatus on RP. Still hiatus'd at Mayfield, but I'm going to be coming off full hiatus at Fated (and for some reason app'd at GB and Facility). But yeah, that's the current status of the Hydok.

Also, I hate how inarticulate I am online. It's the same way when I try talking on the phone, but worse online. I need to see the other person in order to make sure I know what the implications of their words and tone and current mood are, since with me, 99% of what I say is at least 1/3 joking.
