Xbox / Windows PC

  1. Is HUMANITY available on Xbox Game Pass, and/or PC Game Pass?

    As of May 31st, 2025, HUMANITY is no longer available on Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass.

  2. Can I transfer save data between consoles or PC?

    Save data is backed up and synced between Xbox consoles, Cloud Gaming, and the Windows 10 PC version via your Microsoft account. Save data is not transferable between Xbox/Windows 10 and any other version.

  3. What Xbox platforms can I play HUMANITY on?

    HUMANITY is playable on Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles.

  4. Can I play the Windows 10 PC version of HUMANITY in VR?

    Yes. The Windows 10 PC version of HUMANITY is playable in VR on the same headsets supported by the Steam version — Quest 2, Quest 3, Rift S, and Valve Index.

META QUEST

  1. When is HUMANITY releasing on Meta Quest?

    HUMANITY is now available on Meta Quest as of 3/14/24. Please take a look at the store page for more information.

  2. What Meta Quest headsets is it compatible with?

    As of 2/22/24, HUMANITY is compatible with Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro. It is expected to be compatible with any future hardware that runs games compatible with those platforms.

  3. Can I bring my progress over from another platform?

    No, any progress that you have made in HUMANITY on other platforms, including any stages you may have made using those, does not carry over to the Meta Quest version of the game.

  4. Can I play in mixed reality?

    We are excited about the possibilities of mixed reality on the Meta Quest platform! However, HUMANITY is not a mixed reality game and there are no plans to add that functionality to it.

  5. Why is the Stage Creator presented in 2D—why not in VR?

    The STAGE CREATOR mode is an evolution of our development team’s own stage creation tool set and was never originally planned to be presented in VR.

     

    Remaking the mode as a native VR experience presents enormous challenges. Instead of removing it entirely for the Quest version release, it is presented in 2D so Quest players can also enjoy making and sharing stages with the rest of the HUMANITY community on other platforms.

PS5 / PS4

  1. Can I transfer my save data between the PS4 and PS5 versions?

    No. There is no way to move your PS4-version STORY MODE or STAGE CREATOR data to use with the PS5 version of the game.

  2. As a PlayStation Plus member, which tier is required to play HUMANITY?

    HUMANITY is a PlayStation Plus Game Catalog title and available at no additional cost to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.

  3. If I purchase the PS4 version of HUMANITY, would I own the PS5 version as well?

    Yes! HUMANITY is a cross buy between PS5 & PS4 platforms, meaning that a purchase on either platform will allow you to play the game on the console of your choice at any time.

    Minimum System Requirements:
    Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    OS: Windows 10
    Processor: Intel i5-3450
    Memory: 4 GB RAM
    Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 760 equivalent or greater
    DirectX: Version 11
    Storage: 8 GB available space
    VR Support: (VR IS OPTIONAL) Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro, Rift S, Index
    Notes: Minimum Specs for Non-VR mode

USER STAGES

  1. Why can't I access PLAY STAGES or share a stage that I created anymore?

    The PLAY STAGES mode in HUMANITY ended service on March 31st, 2026. Users on any platform can no longer successfully upload stages they’ve created or play stages created by other users. Over the past two and a half years, we at Enhance have been absolutely astonished by the quality and breadth of puzzles that the HUMANITY community has created using the in-game Stage Creator, resulting in over 30,000 stages shared. We thank everyone for their contributions to this community library.

STAGE CREATOR

  1. How many stages can I create?

    In the STAGE CREATOR of your local game, you can store up to 50 stages on PS4, or up to 100 stages on PS5 or Steam.

  2. Any tips for using the STAGE CREATOR?

    In addition to the interactive tutorial that begins when you choose STAGE CREATOR from the title screen, you can find a bunch of helpful tutorial videos under the TUTORIALS icon at the bottom of the left-side-menu there.

VR MODE

  1. What PC VR headsets and controllers are supported on Steam?

    Officially, the PC version of HUMANITY has been tested on Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro, Valve Index, and Oculus Rift S; supported VR controllers are Meta Quest 2 touch Controllers, Meta Quest 3 Touch Plus Controllers, Meta Quest Touch Pro Controllers, Valve Index Controllers, and Oculus Rift S Touch Controllers.

     

    As the game uses Steam VR, many other headsets (and controllers) may work fine, but again, are not officially supported, so there are no guarantees.

  2. Why can't I create stages in VR?

    While you can create stages with a VR headset equipped, we currently only support STAGE CREATOR in 2D mode. You will switch to a flat view of the game for stage creation in VR.

  1. Will there be a physical release for HUMANITY?

    We’re big fans of physical games and have made them available for all of our previous titles. No immediate plans at the moment, but we’d love to explore the possibility in the future.

  2. Is there a HUMANITY Discord Community?

  4. Are there any rules regarding streaming & recording HUMANITY gameplay?

    Streaming and recording HUMANITY is allowed, thus no copyright strikes will be issued. Enjoy the game!

    The HUMANITY Original Soundtrack by Jemapur is available on Bandcamp and Steam and major streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
