*As spazzy/awkward as he is in serious situations he can sit down and focus if its necessary
*things that count as necessary? Forming plans and strategies for a fight, or if one of his friends is really upset
*that doesn't mean he won't still be kinda awkward trying to talk out his own problems
*chances are he won't ever talk about his own problems, he should be man enough to deal with them on his own.
*Most of the time he teases and plays
*just don't tease back too hard...it's frustrating when turned around on him.
*He's pretty impatient and will rush into a variety of things just on impulse.
*He usually says shit without thinking, but he never really learns.
*His tattoos are progress markers. Ask him about one and he'll be able to tell you what it represents
*He heard about them in the academy, and decided to get his eyebrows done once he finally finished his kidou class, since his eyebrows had been singed off the entire semester anyway.
*The one's on his neck hurt like a bitch. He's not gonna admit that though. .
*All of his tattoos were done tebori style (which is tattooing done with ink and a sharp bamboo stick that shoves into your skin).
*He does see them as symbolism, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think they're pretty badass most of the time.
*And don't make fun of his eyebrows.
*He knows his hair is fucking luscious
*Except not really because he's one of those guys who use a 2in1 shampoo and thinks that it works.

*Have some restraint okay, it hurts a little.
*Playing with it gently, braiding it and running your fingers through it though, that feels great.
*And just because it's long DOESN'T MEAN HE'S GIRLY. Hes not. Not at all.
*His hairline isn't receding! He just singed off his hair in kidou class as well and decided to get some more progress markers put up there. Except the hair grows back so he's gotta shave it, and his eyebrows.
*He's never ever gonna cut his hair, since he does enjoy just a bit of tugging or hands fisting into it.
*But he's not all that masochistic really, though some biting is never a bad thing.
*Fighting is a huge turn-on; wrestling, and even just a few playful challenges instigated by words.
*He can be kinda rough. Not hard enough to draw blood but if you're looking for a gentle fuck you've found the wrong guy.
*Course rough doesn't mean kinky, and he's on the vanilla side of the spectrum. Not opposed to trying new things but his patience isn't the best, and why play around with more than tying someone's hands up if it's gonna take an hour to set up??

*His reiatsu feels hot, almost smouldering like humidity if he lets it go.

*and he's not gonna blame where he grew up but that might be the reason
*he forgets his formalities occasionally, though he's much better at it now than he was when he first got out of rukongai.
*He doesn't slip up when dealing with someone of an obviously higher rank/someone he respects, it's more with closer ranked friends and such.
*He's a huge sap on the inside
*cares almost too much about the people that are close to him
*He'll kick anyones ass who tries to hurt them
*even if its clear that he's gonna lose before rushing into the fight he'll still do it
*he won't fight to the death if he doesn't have to though.
*How is he gonna get stronger if he's dead? Well, dead again.
*he doesn't really see himself getting into a hardcore relationship with anyone
*not that he's opposed to it if it really comes up
*he just doesn't think he's very good boyfriend material
*Really, despite all of the manly cockiness and playing around, he doesn't think much of his own looks.
*But yeah, boyfriend? No.
*Not that he wouldn't really be a good one. He would be.
*He's loyal and caring and has the potential to be sweet.
*seriously, he's the guy that'll fall asleep in a chair beside your bed in the hospital no matter how minor the injury.
*He's one of those guys who always says the wrong thing, seems pissed off about fighting and then shows up with chocolates and flowers as a peace offering the next morning.
*He's gotta find the right girl though. Not just anyone could put up with his stupidity.
*Always up for making new friends though, and somehow he makes them easily.
*Rukia is a complicated issue.
*He loves her, that's not up for debate at all.
*But it's a complicated sort of love
*He doesn't necessarily want in her pants, that would probably be awkward. Not that he wouldn't mind hugging her or anything, and there might be room for something more but as things stand now, it'd be awkward.
*They were alone together for a long while, and surviving out in Inuzuri was tough shit, pulling her up into his lap because it was cold or because things were just fucked up happened more than once, and he was happy to be there for her
*Not that she was happy about having to share space, but even if he got smacked for it, there's an unspoken agreement between them. Helping each other out was what they had to do, and it could be done silently to spare both of their pride.
*She's the one who gave him a sense of purpose, he owes her a hell of a lot
*But that doesn't mean he wants his tongue down her throat at any point in time.
*She's left him before, and he'll let her do it as many times as she wants to. Not like he hasn't had more than his share of douche moves.
*She's got the life she deserves now, and he's got no right to hang onto her.
*Can't be selfish after years of having her all to himself.
*Even if she'll end up breaking his heart over and over again until he's just rolling around in a ditch trying to get his life back together.
*Really, he can't help but want her near him. She's been there for as long as he can remember.
*He'll beat Byakuya just to prove to her that he's good enough. Not good enough for her to want him, just good enough in general.
*If she ever needs him, he'll be there. He'll be there so fast you won't even see him coming, and he'd give his life in a second just to try and protect her.
*He'll take her where ever she wants to go, take her to see whatever she wants to see, and do whatever she wants from him. She's the most important thing he has.
*Of course he would never, ever, never, say any of this to her. Ever.
*He's not big on sweets
*besides Taiyaki of course. Japanese sweets he can handle; red bean paste sweets, taro, mango, but give him a strawberry ice cream waffle cone and he might not want it again (even if he would eat all of it)
*he loves alcohol
*and is not opposed to trying new things
*he'd rather be hot than cold, but he never really has a problem with that anyways
*hot is also better to spar in than cold
*at least he'll be able to sweat a lot and make some progress if it's warmer outside
*when he's not training, he likes to sleep
*and he snores just a little bit, sometimes
*louder if he's drunk
*and sleeping into the afternoon isn't bad
*He's more street smart than book smart, but he's pretty literate.
*He can be loud, but he's pretty laid back most of the time.
*He'd rather solve his problems than sit around and worry about them
*If something needs to be said, he'll say it.
*After some mumbling and a bit of stuttering, but he'll still say it.
*Feed him and give him alcohol and he'll be yours forever. That's all I can say
