Associated deaths, disabilities, and illnesses for vaccines, substances and pharmaceutical products
PRR = Proportional Reporting Ratio. It is defined as the % of reports with a particular symptom for any drug divided by the % of reports with a particular symptom for all other drugs. So, it is a measure of incidence of the symptom compared to other drugs. If the PRR >= 2 then that means the symptom occurs twice as often compared to other drugs, and this is regarded as a safety signal.
Compare results with Safety Signal to see if there is confirmation
Based on 33 years of VAERS data for 99 different vaccines and 16849 different symptoms, (read more here), SAFETY SIGNAL is a search engine for checking out any vaccines.
Eudra-vigilance is the European equivalent of VAERS - and includes adverse reaction reports for all vaccines, substances and products used in the European Union (includes Astazeneca data). For the first time all Eudra-vigilance data is available as a downloadable zip 311 Mb - containing files covering all pharmaceuticals, substances, products and vaccines for the period 2002 to 2024. Each record contains pathology treated [PATHOLOGY], drug name [DRUG], ingredients [INGREDIENTS], adverse symptom [SYMPTOM] and severity [SEVERITY]. Severity includes recovery, fatality, disability and hospitalisation status. This data enables symptom frequencies to be calculated for each drug, so you can see if there is an excess frequency compared to other drugs. By ranking drugs for different symptoms, this project will help people identify safer alternatives.
From this raw downloaded data I have created the Eudra Safety Signal Dataset (E.S.S.D) which can be used to assess any drug in the EU. It is only 4 Mb. Working in partnership with Knoll Frank, we have created an online interface so you can access and search this dataset. A link to the interface is provided below.
