She is a wonderfully kind and helpful person, and a positive presence in our fandom world. Unfortunately, she recently experienced an injury which ultimately led to one of her feet being amputated. I love sending out Christmas cards and am definitely planning to send them again this year. I am a tad behind schedule. Anyone who knows me will not be surprised by this. :) I have my list from last year, so if you received a card from me then, that's the address I'll be using. Uzi instructor killed in accidental shooting.

What I'd like to know is:

- Why in God's name was a 9-year-old girl taking Uzi lessons?
- Why is that even legal, and who the hell needs to take Uzi lessons in the first place, let alone kids?
- The parents thought this was a good idea?! I feel sorry for the girl too - for having these morons for parents.

I fear for this world of ours, I really do.
