0.2.0 has released! After over a month and a half, I'm happy to announce the release of version 0.2.0! This update adds some very important improvements to the game such as fences which affects the diffuculty for the game, but also optimisations to the game which make it more playable on older devices and the new major gameplay element of coins which add another goal to the game.Read Post Minimum requirements updateThe macOS version of the game has been updated to support versions all the way down to 10.5 Leopard (from requiring 10.12 Sierra), the issue with the game not having an icon and not being able to be executed directly from the app file has been fixed. There is also a PowerPC version of the game which isn't playable but it can launch on very recent PowerPC macs. Read Post 0.1.0 has released! After roughly 4 months of development (but more like 2) I'm happy to announce the release of 0.1.0, which is the first major version of the game. 0.1 is clearly the most basic release of the game there will be but the absolute basics of being able to complete a time trial is there. I have added some basic quality of life stuff such as being able to rebind controls, fullscreen toggle, debug menu, hide the HUD, etc. However I do plan on adding more stuff in the future such as GUI scaling, controller glyph overrides, tilt controls for mobile, flipped controls, facing direction the golf cart, etc. Read Post2026-02-25 Changelog2026-02-24 Changelog2026-02-23 Changelog2026-02-21 Changelog2026-02-20 Changelog2026-02-17 Changelog2026-02-16 Changelog2026-02-14 Changelog2026-02-12 Changelog2026-02-11 Changelog2026-02-10 Changelog2026-02-09 Changelog2026-02-07 Changelog2026-02-04 Changelog2026-02-02 Changelog2026-02-01 Changelog |

Hayley & Ray is a work progress game that has minigames along side an upcoming story mode about two foxgirls that meet at a train station and then a meet up to play a virtual reality game where they have to collect various parts of a VR headset to complete the game. Additional InfoThe game will be available to download on this website for free. The game will be licenced under the MIT licence when I can be bothered to setup a git forge. The game is being using the Homebrodot engine. I'm updating the web version on a semi-regular basis until 0.1.0 comes out, once 0.1.0 comes out it probably will only get updated each major version of the game. Play in the browser

Development InfoThe story mode of the game is based on a story I wrote throughout 2023, work started on the original version of the game was started in January 2025, the new remake was started in October 2025 and is still being frequently worked on. RoadmapMinimum RequirementsWhile there currently isn't an explicit focus on optimisation, the game should be playable (at least 25 fps average) on most devices, I have tested on budget mobile devices from 2014 and 2016 and they were reaching over 25 fps in game. I have not been able to test much on the PC side as I only have a single working PC from the 2000s but it's playable on a 2007 iMac. |
