I am a Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-inspired Intelligence, Fudan University. Before joining Fudan, I worked as a Research Scientist under the mentorship of Prof. Ge Wang at the Biomedical Imaging Center, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I received my Ph.D. in Machine Learning from Fudan University in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Junping Zhang.
My research interests span machine learning, computer vision, and medical imaging, with an emphasis on generative AI, medical image reconstruction, and brain disease analysis. More recently, I am interested in developing multi-modal foundation models for medical imaging. More details about my work can be found on my research page.
I currently serve as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI) (2026–present), having previously served as Managing Editor (2025).
