Narberth Turret

Relying on historical photos, we worked with an engineer to design a conical turret that we built off site for reassembly and roofing on site. The turret was structurally designed to be lifted from a single point through the top with stable rigging that would not get in its own way when it came time to attach.

The natural challenges of the conical shape and the multiple laminations needed to get right curves meant a lot of competing criteria but the result came together perfectly.
