Explore artifacts, documents, and stories from Birkenhead's past. 2:00pm – 4:00pm at 44 Mahara Avenue. Free entry – donations welcome. Family-friendly, with talks for kids!

We Are Wirral Festival @ Birkenhead Park
A vibrant weekend of music, entertainment, and family activities celebrating local heritage. Sponsored by Birkenhead groups – live bands, workshops, and history walks. (Note: UK event, but ties to our shared Birkenhead roots!)
October 25–26, 2025
Birkenhead Village Festival
Free guided bus tours of historic sites (1920s origins with Barfoot & Thompson), swing jazz by Society Jazzmen (1–4pm), Lindy Hop dancing (2:15–4pm), and heritage farm animals at former Taylor's Farm site. All-weather event at Kaimataara o Wai Manawa. Sponsored by Birkenhead Heritage Society!
