Parents and guardians are also welcome to attend all the events, but (if watching separately from their student) should register using the links for each session below.

  • The Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) is the unit designated to receive requests for accommodations, approve services, and coordinate support for students with disabilities. The SDRC ensures access to the university's educational programs. Join us to learn more!

  • The Pre-Professional Advising Center (PPAC) provides information, advising, and support for students who aspire to careers in health and law professions at the graduate/professional school level.

  • For all majors, learn the process to earn your teaching credentials, the optimal path to prepare you to teach, including declaring a double major. In our Teacher Education Program, you can earn your teaching credentials and master’s, all within one year from earning your bachelor’s degree(s)!

  • Welcome to UCR, Highlander! All new students are required to attend Highlander Orientation in the summer. Join this session to learn what is included in Orientation sessions, how to register, how to be prepared for our program, and much more. All prospective students and family members are welcome!

  • Join UCR admissions counselors for a live virtual Q&A designed for students coming from outside California. 

  • Learn more about the various majors offered within the Computer Science Department. Our programs include Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, and our new interdisciplinary major, Computer Science with Applications (Health, Psychology, and Business).

    This session will provide an overview of each program, highlight key differences, and help you determine which path best aligns with your interests and career goals.

  • Leaders of UCR Chicano Latino Alumni will share their personal experiences as a Highlander, and how they have stayed involved after graduation. Come make connections and learn about the available scholarships hosted by this network!

  • Join our UCR Campus Tour Guides for a virtual student panel! Hear why they chose UCR, learn about their experiences, and discover the resources and activities that helped shape their journey. Perfect for admitted first-year students seeking insights into life at UCR.

  • Join UCR’s science community for a live virtual webinar. Hear from CNAS faculty and connect with student science ambassadors during a panel and Q&A. Learn about academics, student life, and what to expect as a science student. Families are welcome to attend.
