I'm tired of making tutorials and having people taking the psd and never bother to credit or acknowledge them. I am annoyed with people who ask for them rudely and I'm sick of people who steals my tutorials and textures and make graphics from them but never bother to credit me. Its not that hard to put a credit. Would you like it if someone steal your icons and make them theirs?

I'm not your servant. I'm tired and sick and I don't have enough sleep because of exams so I'm easily irritated by all of this.

Maybe I won't make anymore tutorials since I don't find much reasons to anyway.

ETA : I'm going to be stricter from now on. If I find that you don't have a resource post/you never credit, I'm not going to give the psd/textures. Sorry but I'm sick of this.

This tutorial is now officially deleted because I am sick of people hotlinking, stealing, claiming it as their own and distributing the password for the psd and then when I find out about it, they scold me instead :|. I am sick of this shit and its totally not worth it so as of May 30th, this tutorial will now ceased to exist.

Smoky tutorial

This is the base:-

1) Use this texture and set it to Lighten 50%

2) Using a basic soft brush at 100 pixels in #000000, brush along the sides of the photo to give it an aged look.

3) Hue/Saturation layer and use these coordinates:-

Master Saturation +34
Reds Saturation +23
Yellows Saturation +34
Blues Saturation +23

4) Photo Filter layer
Warming Filter (LBA) at Density 25%
(or for those of you without photo filter, try using this texture over your photo)

5) Color Fill layer #ffffff and set it to Soft Light 23%

6) Photo Filter layer
Sepia at Density 25%
(or for those who doesn't have photo filter, try adding this texture over your photo)

7) Hue/Saturation layer with Saturation +23 in Master

8) Optional : Use this border texture and adjust it.

The coloring is done :) The following is for the text ♥

Text:-

The font that I used is called Eight Fifteen. You can pick any font you want =) Be creative!

1) Write whatever you want and then go to Blending option > Outer Glow. Set it according to this to have the outer glow effect =]

2) For the stripes behind the writing, go to custom shape tool and pick this stripes. Remember to drag this below the font layer :)!

3) Drag both of the layers to below the first hue/saturation layer.

And you're done! :D

This is your base:-

1) Put a Hue/Saturation layer with Saturation at +23 in Master

2) Selective Coloring layer
Red -45 +65 +55 +20
Yellow -30 +45 +30 +30
White +45 -34 -34 -45
Neutral -34 -8 +67 +12
Black -10 +33 -12 +12

3) Color Fill layer #ffffff at Soft Light 100%

4) Use this Polaroid texture and set it to Screen 100%

5) :) I think the white frame is boring so I'm putting a black frame instead :D
Use this texture and adjust it on the polaroid texture :)

6) Place this texture by lifeisdolce and drag it to below the Hue/Saturation layer. Set it to Screen 100%

And you're done :D

1) Using your base, duplicate it and set it to Screen 60%

2) Selective Coloring layer
Red +40 +20 +45 +55
Yellow +0 +0 +0 -45
White +30 +30 0 +20
Neutral +20 -10 -20 +10
Black 0 0 0 +45

3) Photo filter layer
Warming Filter (LBA) Density 25%

4) Use this texture, set to Darken 100%

5) Use this Polaroid texture, set to Lighten 100%

6) And then you can put this cute Reinvent ♥ texture and put it at the right end corner and set it to Darken 100%

Pls be aware that the SC layer is only suitable for pictures with a lot of white in it. If yours is not, just skip that step and your picture'll have the same vintage polaroid effect :)
