A thought that's been passed around for some time now is that radio is dying. But that simply isn't true! There's still so many good and cool stations out there to be listened to, in your own backyard and around the world! As someone who grew up listening to radio by my mom's side, and then discovered stations on my own, radio has always been something very important to me. Even its history is fascinating to me. And there's not just AM and FM. There's also shortwave to be listened to, if you have a shortwave radio and a good-length wire antenna. (Doesn't have to be an expensive radio either!) And then there's online radio, even more variety to choose from! So why not dive in and tune in? Definitely touch that dial, no matter what's on it. (Old KOME reference, lol.) |
