hello everyone!!
okay so, basically in order to generate more henber fic/art and because AUs are awesome, I've compiled a list of AU prompts i've found from various places (coughtumblrcough)

how it works:
the prompt list is here (i haven't read through all of them, so there is undoubtedly repeats orz)
and the challenge is for us, as a group, to try and write/draw all of these/as many as possible

NOTES:

red is what has been completed/filled - listed here

claims are in purple (like a prompt you're bookmarking because you want to write it (but it's not necessarily finished yet))

you can double up on a prompt!!! even if a prompt has been filled / completed / claimed you can still write/draw for it ^^ but remember our aim is to write to as many different prompts as possible, so try to write/draw for another prompt if you can~

also remember to give credit to where the prompts came from - it's linked at the top of each batch ^^

NO TIME LIMIT OR MINIMUM WORDCOUNT this is just us wanting more henber fic/art <3

Henry smiled as he looked outside his snow-covered window. Through the foggy glass he saw a single car pull up in his driveway, and it belonged to no other than his lovely long-time girlfriend and lover, Amber Liu. He had a feeling it had been a long day at work, and that she would be nothing but exhausted when she walked through that door. Good thing Henry had already laid out her favorite flannels, black sweatshirt and fuzzy socks, and he had some extra apple cider on the stove for her. He gave her a cheesy grin as she stepped in the door, snow all in her bangs and covering her hat.

"Hey Ambs," Henry said casually as he set his mug down and stood to hug her. Luckily his feeling was right, and she replied with a tired "Hmm," before snuggling into his warm chest. The male chuckled and took her hat off so he could kiss her forehead and play with her hair while he kept one arm firmly around her waist.

"Long day at work, hm?" He asked, already knowing the answer and chuckling once more when she whimpered and nodded. "Why don't you go and take a shower? I'll fix you some soup and apple cider and we can talk." Amber looked up at Henry with big eyes. Sure they always talked with each other about everyday things like movies and dinner, but they hadn't had a serious, heart-to-heart talk in months, and last time it was about their personal lives. Henry sensed that Amber liked this idea, so he lead her up the stairs to their bedroom and bathroom, where she kissed his cheek and thanked him for setting out clothes for her.

While she showered and Henry prepared her some tomato-basil soup, he thought of what he wanted to say to her in their conversation. He knew the topic he wanted to talk about- The topic of marriage. He wanted to talk about it because he wanted to marry her, and he knew very well she wanted to marry him as well. But right now, they just didn't have enough time or money for marriage. With Henry and his songs and Amber with her work, the two only had enough money for food, clothes and the house, so marriage was a topic that caused worries, mostly financial ones.

As Amber stepped down the stairs from the shower with her hair already dried, Henry smiled and called her cute when she plopped down on the couch, which she was. Her sweater was two sizes too big and hid her chest, (which Henry liked, since he thought only he should be able to see her breasts,) and her flannels were so big her underwear was showing. He quickly fixed this by pulling her flannels upwards before pouring them both a bowl of soup and her a mug of hot apple cider.

"Thanks baby," She said before kissing his cheek and immediatly digging into her food.

Henry casually at his food and sipped on his drink, bringing up easy topics to Amber like her day at work, what projects she was working on and how her co-workers were doing, and if Krystal and Min (Amber's two closest friends from university) would want to come to their place for a movie night this Saturday. She told him that they were busy and piled with work, and that she might be too.

"I've just been so busy lately," Amber said as she sipped on her drink. "It's almost unfair that I can't have lazy weekends with you anymore. I mean, we barely have time for sex anymore, and it sucks because I really want to spend more time with you... I'm sorry, babe."

Henry sighed and gently placed his hand on her knee, and gave her an understanding look. "Ambs, I understand and it's alright. I actually wanted to talk to you about that." At this, Amber looked up at him, worried that he might tell her he wanted to break up with her or to quit her job.

"Amber Liu... I want you to be Amber Lau." He let his words sink in as he watched her cheeks tint bright red before speaking again. "I know that we don't have much time together anymore, and when you're free I'm busy and vice versa, but I just wanted to remind you that I love you. And someday when we have the money and time, you will no longer be my best friend and girlfriend, but my family and wife."

Instead of smiling and blushing, Amber's eyes brimmed with tears. Though these were different than the ones Henry saw at her grandmother's funeral, these ones seemed happy.

"Ambs? What's wr-"

Henry was interrupted by his lovers lips crashing on his, sending him backwards onto the couch as Amber's legs and arms wrapped around his body. He let himself relax in this position before placing his hands on her hips gently and closing his eyes, smiling as she pulled away.

"Henry... I love you. So so much..."

The taller smiled and stood up, protectively placing a hand under Amber's backside to keep her from falling as he turned off all the lights and lead her upstairs. "I know you do," He said cheesily, earning a slap on the chest as they plopped down onto their bed and snuggled under their warm covers, falling asleep to the sound of snow crunching under people's feet and car wheels outside.

Gosh I can't believe it's already been two years since I decided that I wanted to create a henber community, and here we are ;u;
At present we have 85 members and 96 watchers and 164 posts ;u; (well, 165 after I post this hahahaha)
I am so proud to have watched this little community grow and the henber love spreading to more and more people ^^
We are still a small community, and I am still quite inexperienced in managing a community, but I hope people come to henberger for all their henber needs ♥
