Shift Bidding, also called OpenShift Requests, is an option within an OpenShift that allows users to express interest in the shift. You can then view who has requested to pick up the OpenShift and select and approve a user to work the shift. The Shift Bidding option helps you moderate the OpenShift pick up process to get the most qualified people into the right shifts. Process OpenShift Requests
When users bid on OpenShifts, use the When I Work web app to process OpenShift requests from your computer. You must have supervisor, manager, or admin access privileges to process employee requests.
