How to import a CSV file

Steps:

Go to Settings -> Import Reviews -> Import Product Reviews
Download the sample file here
Add reviews with these required fields: title, body, rating, review_date, reviewer_name, reviewer_email, product_handle
If you already have a CSV file, you can skip the two steps above.

⚠️ How to import review with images?

Product images must be uploaded to image hosting platforms such as Imgur, Flickr, Google Photos. If your review contains images, please upload them to a suitable platform and copy the link and paste it into the picture_urls column.

How to find product handle

Visit the live product page on your Shopify store.

What is the Custom Domain feature?

Custom Domain allows you to use your own business domain name when sending product review request emails to customers. Instead of emails being sent from our default address ( example@mail.trustshop.io), emails will be sent from an address with your domain ( example@reviews.yourdomain.com).

Why use Custom Domain?

Reduce email spam rate: Emails from your business domain are more likely to bypass spam filters
Increase brand recognition: Customers see emails coming from your familiar domain name
Higher email open rates: Customers tend to open emails from sources they trust

How to set up Custom Domain

1. Access the Custom Domain settings screen

Go to the Settings page.
Navigate to Email & Domain Settings.
Under the Sender Email section, click the Edit Subdomain button.

2. Enter email your sub domain information

Enter the email sub domain you want to use (e.g., if you want to use request@reviews.yourdomain.com enter sub domain reviews.yourdomain.com)
Click Continue

Note: You need to enter your main subdomain, not main domain.

Step 1: Create a new page template. This step helps create a new page template to use as a review page, remove the title of the page and does not affect your current pages.

To create a new page template, go to Customize in Online Store > Themes.
Then, create a new template page in the Customize section.

Since TrustShop supports adding title and subtitle for the review pages, you need to disable the default Shopify page title. To disable the title, click on the eye icon on the left side of the Customize theme.

Add the All Reviews section of TrustShop to display all your reviews.

Step 2: Create a new Page

After creating the TrustShop page template, you need to create a page to display all reviews. To create a page, go to Online Store > Pages and click on Add page.

In the new page creation section, select the theme template as trustshop.
