Resova Integration Overview

Learn what the Resova integration syncs into Patch and what to expect after setup.

The Resova integration connects your Resova account to Patch so customer, product, order, and booking data can be used across your Patch account.

This article gives a high-level overview of what syncs, how often data updates, and what limitations to expect.

What the integration syncs

  • Contacts from Resova customers
  • Products from Resova items
  • Orders from Resova transactions
  • Bookings from Resova calendar items

How syncing works

Patch uses a mix of scheduled syncing and webhooks.

  • The scheduled sync runs every 6 hours.
  • Webhooks can send some updates sooner when supported.
  • Transactions are fetched by updated date.
  • Customers do not have a created or updated date filter, so the customer sync works differently than the transaction sync.

What happens in Patch

  • Resova transactions create order activity in Patch. Resova bookings create calendar activity in Patch.

  • A single transaction can include more than one booking, so it is normal for one order to be connected to multiple booking records.

What to expect after setup

  • Your initial sync pulls in customers, products/items, transactions, and bookings.
  • New activity continues to update in real time and on the 6 hour sync.

Important notes

  • Some contact fields only come across during the full customer sync.
  • Some booking and order updates do not appear instantly for end users, but they do update on the next scheduled sync.
  • If a booking is deleted from a multi-booking transaction, that single booking can be deleted without deleting the full transaction history.
