IHUT Timelines

Timelines are automatically generated as you fill in the details of your project. You'll see an estimated results delivery day along with the length of time we expect different phases to take based on the scope of your research.

Once your project is submitted, passes quality review, and products land in our warehouse, we'll provide you with the full detailed breakdown and confirmed results date. 

Before we can lock in your timing:

1. Set up your project to align with your research needs, then submit it for review. Setup includes defining your audience, designing surveys, and providing detailed instructions for both testers and Highlight's warehouse.
2. Prior to submitting your project, you must create a shipment receiving, outlining your estimated ship date, products, and quantities, along with any other important shipment notes. You can alway come back to this after project submission to edit tracking as needed.
3. Submit your project! Your project will be reviewed within 1 business day of submission and status will update to "Awaiting Products" until your products land in our warehouse. 

Product Received by Highlight
Ship your products to Highlight's warehouse Monday - Friday 9am-4pm ET. More details for shipping your products to Highlight’s warehouse (including repacking/labeling requirements) can be found here.

What contributes to the calculation:

Recruiting Participants
Once your project has been submitted, reviewed, and all products have been received and logged by the Highlight warehouse, Highlight begins recruiting participants. Please see the numbers of days allocated for recruiting in the timeline of your project, as this step depends on your audience requirements.

Boxes Ship to Participants
Once participants are fully recruited, boxes are shipped from Highlight's warehouse to participants which begins the in-home testing fieldwork period. Estimate 2-5 days for standard shipping or 1-2 days for expedited shipping (if scoped in your proposal) for all boxes to be delivered.

Fieldwork
As testers receive their boxes, they will begin to test your products as outlined by your instructions. Highlight manages progress and quality throughout. Results are available in the Explore tab of your project as soon as the first survey responses start coming in.

Project Complete
Within 24 hours of fieldwork concluding, all final and quality-checked results are available for your completed project in the Insights tab of your project.

Digital Testing Timelines

1. Project Submission and Quality Check
   1. Set up your project to align with your research needs, then submit it for review. Setup includes uploading stimuli (if applicable), defining your audience. and designing surveys.
   2. Submit your project! Your project will be reviewed within 1 business day of submission. Upon acceptance, the timeline will be available in the platform and you will receive email updates at key milestones along the way!
2. Recruiting & Fieldwork Highlight begins recruiting once your project has been submitted and reviewed. Qualified testers will immediately enter the digital test. Highlight manages progress and quality throughout. Results are available in the Explore tab of your project as soon as the first survey responses start coming in. Please see the timeline in your project page for recruitment & fielding timing, as this step depends on your audience requirements.
3. Project Complete Within 24 hours of fieldwork concluding, all final and quality-checked results are available for your completed project in the Insights tab of your project.
