- You need to track service appointments or execution schedules.
- You want to generate entries in the Service Calendar for operational tracking.
 Example Scenario: Battery Repair Shop
To set up service tracking for battery repairs:
- Create a Service Group
Go to Group Details → Create a group named Battery Service and mark it as a Service type. Select the required service parameters like Service Type etc,. - Add a Service Product
Create a product called Battery Service and assign it to the newly created group. - Generate the Estimation or Sales bill
Add the Battery Service product to Sales then right click on product added or press Control+M or click on more to open the Service option. Select the due date and required option. - Generate Sales Bill or Save the Estimation
When a sales bill is created using this product or on Saving the estimation, an entry is automatically added to the Service Calendar for tracking and scheduling.
 Key Notes
- No stock deduction occurs for service-mode products.
- Service Calendar entries help manage technician schedules, service timelines, and customer follow-ups.
- Ideal for repair shops, consulting services, diagnostics, and other non-inventory operations.
