How to use Fliplet Analytics

Get started

Follow the steps below to enable Fliplet Analytics and begin using the data:

  1. Enable Fliplet Analytics and publish your app
  2. Use the timeline chart
  3. Use app metrics
  4. View most popular screens
  5. Analyze interactions per screen
  6. View most active users
  7. Review actions per user
  8. Use the technology report
  9. Review the communications report
  10. Disable Fliplet Analytics

Step 1 – Enable Fliplet analytics and publish your app

  1. Open your app in Fliplet Studio and click the Analytics option in the left panel
  2. If prompted, click the Enable analytics button
  3. Once enabled, publish your app to start collecting data

Step 2 – Use the timeline chart

  1. The timeline chart shows key trends:
    Active devices – Total devices that opened the app during the selected period
    Sessions – Number of sessions started
    Screen views – Number of screen transitions
    Interactions – Clicks, taps, menu opens, etc.
  2. Use the calendar icon to adjust the date range and click “Apply.”

Step 3 – Use app metrics

  1. New Devices: Installs that launched the app during the time period
  2. Sessions: Begins when a user opens or returns to the app; ends after 30 minutes of inactivity
  3. Screen Views: Counted when a screen transition is logged
  4. Interactions: User actions like clicks and taps. Low interactions may indicate UX issues

Step 4 – View most popular screens

  1. On the right side of the analytics view, find Most Popular Screens
  2. See screens ranked by sessions, views, or interactions
  3. Use this to guide improvement efforts on lower-performing screens

Step 5 – Analyze interactions per screen

  1. Scroll to Interactions per Screen below popular screens
  2. Click “See all” to open a detailed breakdown of user actions by screen

Step 6 – View most active users

  1. Requires user login on your app
  2. View top users by screen views, sessions, or interactions
  3. Click “See all” for the full list

Step 8 – Use the technology report

  1. Scroll down to find the Technology Report
  2. Review platform-specific usage:
    • Web app: Access via browsers\
    • iOS app: Usage on iPhone/iPad
    • Android app: Usage on Android phones and tablets
  3. Use this to focus testing or content optimization on the most-used platform

Step 9 – Review the communications report

  1. Review communications sent via Fliplet:
    Push notifications sent
    Emails sent (if supported in your app)
    SMS sent (if applicable)
  2. This helps measure the reach and frequency of user engagement efforts

Step 10 – Disable Fliplet Analytics

  1. Go to App Settings
  2. Click the Add-ons tab
  3. Click System: Analytics
  4. Click the red Disable add-on button
