How to use Fliplet Analytics
Get started
Follow the steps below to enable Fliplet Analytics and begin using the data:
- Enable Fliplet Analytics and publish your app
- Use the timeline chart
- Use app metrics
- View most popular screens
- Analyze interactions per screen
- View most active users
- Review actions per user
- Use the technology report
- Review the communications report
- Disable Fliplet Analytics
Step 1 – Enable Fliplet analytics and publish your app
- Open your app in Fliplet Studio and click the Analytics option in the left panel
- If prompted, click the Enable analytics button
- Once enabled, publish your app to start collecting data

Step 2 – Use the timeline chart
- The timeline chart shows key trends:
Active devices – Total devices that opened the app during the selected period
Sessions – Number of sessions started
Screen views – Number of screen transitions
Interactions – Clicks, taps, menu opens, etc. - Use the calendar icon to adjust the date range and click “Apply.”



Step 3 – Use app metrics
- New Devices: Installs that launched the app during the time period
- Sessions: Begins when a user opens or returns to the app; ends after 30 minutes of inactivity
- Screen Views: Counted when a screen transition is logged
- Interactions: User actions like clicks and taps. Low interactions may indicate UX issues


Step 4 – View most popular screens
- On the right side of the analytics view, find Most Popular Screens
- See screens ranked by sessions, views, or interactions
- Use this to guide improvement efforts on lower-performing screens

Step 5 – Analyze interactions per screen
- Scroll to Interactions per Screen below popular screens
- Click “See all” to open a detailed breakdown of user actions by screen

Step 6 – View most active users
- Requires user login on your app
- View top users by screen views, sessions, or interactions
- Click “See all” for the full list

Step 8 – Use the technology report

- Scroll down to find the Technology Report
- Review platform-specific usage:
- Web app: Access via browsers\
- iOS app: Usage on iPhone/iPad
- Android app: Usage on Android phones and tablets
- Use this to focus testing or content optimization on the most-used platform
Step 9 – Review the communications report

- Review communications sent via Fliplet:
Push notifications sent
Emails sent (if supported in your app)
SMS sent (if applicable) - This helps measure the reach and frequency of user engagement efforts
Step 10 – Disable Fliplet Analytics
- Go to App Settings
- Click the Add-ons tab
- Click System: Analytics
- Click the red Disable add-on button
