What Type of Content Can I Send in a Viber Message?
Viber messages support text, images, videos, documents, and call-to-action buttons.
The content options available depend on the attachment type selected:
- Text only — up to 1,000 characters; optional call-to-action button with a label and destination URL
- Image — up to 5MB; supported formats: .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .svg, .webp; optional accompanying text
- Video — up to 25MB; supported formats: .3gpp, .m4v, .mov, .mp4; optional accompanying text
- Document — up to 20MB; supported formats include .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .csv, and others; requires a document name; no accompanying text
Note: Call-to-action buttons are available for text-only messages only. They are not available when an image, video, or document is attached.
