Halloween time

So we had this Halloween party, at last! Ok, my life may look like full of parties, but it really isn't. :D
I was dressed like a pumpkin... that means orange shirt, orange skirt, orange tights, orange shoes, orange earrings, orange band on the head. A dream coming true, wearing all orange! XD
Apart from me, there were a fish-woman (from Davy Jones' crew, she saidXD), a fallen angel, a pirate, a stabbed Julius Cesar, a witch, an evil fairy (who isn't a witch!XD) and some others people... I took loads of photos!
We organised a game, with penances, and it was pretty fun, mostly because I wasn't the one who had to do the penances (hey, we picked the names at random!) :D
It's odd, but here in Italy pretty much everyone organises something for Halloween, which isn't an Italian holiday at all. So kids go around trick-or-treating (I've always done it! :D But they never come to my house, since I live on something like a hill, and it's steep, you know ;o;), and people of my age go clubbing (there's plenty of Halloween party, seriously!) or go to some parties. It's mostly a commercial holiday, but hey, who cares! =D
We didn't sleep that much, so I'd better go sleeping, since our volleyball trainer is evil (ahah) and wants us to go training tonight. Argh.

I've had today off from school, luckily, because I wouldn't have been able to go and listen and write and do all that kind of stuff people usually do at school.

It seems I can't help posting only once a month. :D
So, first of all thank you so much everyone for the birthday wishes, here, on the tfl boards, on msn and such! <3
Last week we had a party to celebrate my birthday and two friends of mine's ones (very close between them!) and we had a lot of fun! We're that kind of people who like very much to have parties. We organise parties everytime we can, basically. XD
Aaaand on Halloween night we're going to a friend of mine's house and have a party there, all dressed up! I'm gonna dress up like a witch, kinda, but I still have to find a satisfying outfit. Mh mh. We wanted to go to a club or something like that, but basically we still have to finish all the bottles of drinks we bought for our bdays party (ok, we thought we would have drunk more!XD), so we'll have the party there and drink the remaining. :D
I'm reading the English version of The Catcher in the Rye and I'm loving it like whoa! I love that book (and Holden), and reading it in English is waaaaay better than reading it in Italian! Like every translated book, actually.
Yesterday my 8yo brother crashed into another kid (don't ask me how!) and now he can't open his right eye, and on that very eye he has a violet/blue huge weal (hope that's the word for it :|)! His face is like the hunchback of Notre Dame's one, poor him! He doesn't want to go out without his sunglasses. I feel so sorry for him! <33

Ah-ehm. Long time no see. :D
Uni has started and I'm uber excited! I'm only taking Spanish classes for now (five hours a day, five days a week for three weeks!), but yay! I love Spanish, and it's very similar to Italian, so no big problems til now! <3
In one year I will be taking Russian, if I don't change my mind (and I know I won't :D), so more awesomeness! I'd study thousands of languages, if it was for me. <33 I like university life.. moreover, I'm attending it here in the Upper City, and it's beautiful since it's the medieval town, surrounded by the walls, and all that kind of stuff, and the point of everything is that I like it and I'm happy. :D

Yesterday I bought a borsalino (don't know how to call it in English!) like this (but black) and I totally and absolutely and completely love it! It's really beautiful and it fits perfectly and I'm even happier. And now I feel the need to buy some shoes with heels (and nearly everybody will hate me, since I'm just way too tall, but I want them so much!). And then my new look will be complete. :D

Volleyball trainings have re-started! Yay! I couldn't wait, and now I can relax and play volleyball and be happy (ok, I'm becoming repetitive). But I am oh-so-out-of-training!

Yep, still alive, if you were wondering (and I doubt that :D). I'm, like, the most bored girl of the world. Siriusly. And I want to re-read DH, in the italian version. Which will come out in January. Blah. Losers!
On Saturday I'll leave for a week since I'll go working. I'm looking forward to going to work, since here I'm so bored, doing nothing and stuff. Mh.

Oook, here we have some photos of my most wonderful trip! :D

Let's start from the beginning: we first saw the Winter Palace, and the Hermitage, in the centre of St. P. It was awesome, and I was speechless when I saw it, siriusly. So, here it is: my beautiful self (ehmXD) and the most beautiful Winter Palace! <3

What do we have next? Ah, yes, we were walking in St. P, and I found this anchor, and I made my sister take a photo. Just because I love doing stupid things and sitting on anchors. :D

Oh, something more interesting: Peterhof, the Summer Palace, the Russian Versailles, whatever you call it, on the Gulf of Finland (I was so near my beloved Finland!). My sister and I, and the palace, with all his gorgeous fountains! There were a bazilion fountains, really! And it was pretty hot in St. P, actually.

Aw, a funny trip on the canals of St. P! I took this photo mainly because it was 10.30 PM and the sun was still shining! I was like - whoa, misteries of nature! It was awesome to hang out in the evening and staring at the sun! <3 Oh, the poetriness of St. P. :D

Then we went to Pushkin (ex Tsarkoe Selo), the palace you see in the movie (cartoon) Anastasia! <33 It is sooo big and super light-blue! And inside we saw the Amber Room, which is just stunning, all made in Amber (you would have never guessed that! XD), walls, the floor - everything! <333 And this is me outside Tsarskoe Selo, as always smiling and all that kind of stuff.

Aaaand, inside Tsarskoe Selo! Me and my sister in the main ball room, which was really huge and sparkling, with all the candles (well, not candles anymore, obviously), and the mirrors, and we were like 'we want to organize a ball in here!'.

Ok, just wanted to show all the Fabergé eggs you can find in Russia. They're everywhere, and there are loads of them. My sister smiling, but this photo didn't do her justice, she's much prettier. :D But we were talking about Fabergé Eggs so, uhm.. ok. They were beautiful, and I wanted to buy a small one for my mum, but they were pretty expensive, blah!

And then... Moscow time! Completely different weather from St. P, even though we were 600 km south. Oh well, it was pretty cold and it rained aaaalot.
First of all, the Red Square! My sister and I, and St. Basil's on the back! Shame it rained. I love this photo, dunno why. :D

Aaah, me and the bell-that-never-rang! There was this tsar - don't remember exactly the name - who wanted to create the biggest bell of the world. So he managed to do that, but unluckily it was so heavy it broke, and so it has never rang. This is me sitting with the bell! There was a lot of wind, as you can see. And that bell is huge, really.

Glad to be back, at last!
Just a quick update, because I feel guilty to sit here and writing nothing. :D

Come back from Moscow and Saint Petersburg on Saturday night, and I had a great time there. St. P. was awesome, all the palaces and stuff.. the Winter Palace drove me mad, actually, I kinda dreamt of it for half of my life! It was stunning. Not to talk about Peterhof, and Tsarskoe Selo, OMG, we are talking about Tsarskoe Selo, and the amber room! Oh gosh. Too many awesome things in one week!
And I enjoyed Moscow too, even though I prefered St. P! <333

And... DH! *NO SPOILERS*
I really liked it! I still have to think about it, but, wow, awesome! <3 Great job, JKR. :D Apart from the epilogue. ._.

Seems impossible, but I actually remembered yesterday was MAD! Go me! :D

9AM: Time to wake up, Helly! This is my messy desk. On it you can see a book, my cellphone, my pencilcase, an exercise book, an anti mosquitos spray and my books/dictionaries of Russian! I'm kinda addicted to Russia. However, I'll have to tidy up.

9.15AM: Breakfast time, with my most beautiful mug which is smiling at you! <3 On the back, a jar of honey. Don't really like it, but I put it into the milk, so it's ok. I think you totally don't care about this, so I'll go on!

9.45AM: Since we (me and my siblings) are on holiday, I have a loooot of spare time and I have to help my brother Pacho (whose real name isn't Pacho, but we call him like that since he's a baby :D) with his homeworks! How evil to give homework to do during summer holidays. Well, but I've always done it, so he won't die because of them. :D Currently doing maths (argh!).

11AM: Time to clean the bathroom! Dirty job, but someone has to do it (someone=me).

11.30AM: Finally I can relax and read some pages of Burning Bright, the latest Tracy Chevalier's book! I love her and her books.

12.15AM: The family needs to eat! So, my sister and I are preparing the meal for everybody (cordon bleus and chips!). Or better, the oven is doing it, since we limit ourselves to take out the food from the fridge, and put it into the oven. However!

1PM: Ok, dressing up would be an interesting thing to do, at this point of the day. As you can infer from my shirts, my favourite colours are pink and orange. Oooorange, I love it. And that's basically why I only have orange and pink shirts. :D

1.15PM: Lately my siblings and I are become addicted to a cards game called Macchiavelli, which is quite complicated but very fun, and we play it everytime we can! This photo shows the end of the game, which I won! Go me! :D

1.45PM: Ok, preparing myself for my Russian trip! Always same Russian dictionaries, the list of what we're going to see (can't waaaait! *___*) and the listing of the address of my friends (postcards to send)!

2.05PM: Yaaay, next-to-last and last episode of the third series of Grey's Anatomy! Can't wait to see how is going to finish! In this photo, George and Izzie. :D

3.30PM: Sometimes I can be useful, and this is one of those moments! I'm helping my dad changing the curtains in my bedroom.. now they're bright fuchsia! Awww! <3 Awesome. Well done, dad. And me.

4PM: Leaving with mom&dad, looking for some shoes. I hate going to buy shoes. I hate shoes shops. I really don't know why, but everytime I enter one of those shops, I start yawning. They annoy me alot, actually! This is a huge shoes 'shop' near home, at the top of a hill. Quite impossible for my driving skills to reach the top, actually. :D That's why dad was driving. Hee.

4.40PM: Supermarket. Nothing really interesting to say, there was no food left at home. XD

5.30PM: Nail care! My nails are super breakable, and it's quite annoying, so I have to use this nail varnish. Oh, the problems of life!

6PM: Internetting, basically. Updates to see, people to talk with.. etc etc.

7.30PM: Ok, this time I can say I'm cooking and preparing the meal! Currently preparing pizza. Yum! Homemade pizza is the best, I'll tell you! ;)

9PM: Back to Vladi (my computer!), photoshopping, after a while I haven't come up with anything good. Ok, not sure about the exactness of the last sentence, but however. :D

Went seeing OotP, and really enjoyed it. Sirius' death was very sad, even if Bella didn't AKing him.
So many Harry/Luna scenes, aww! My inner fangirl was like *omgsquee*! And Herm/Ron, too. <3 And Sirius/Remus!
Ok, maybe not so many S/R scenes, but a few. Ok, one or two.

Ok, so, in a few days I'm leaving for Moscow and St. Petersbourg (really don't know how to spell that :D), from the 21st of July to the 28th. <333 I'm uber excited, really, since I wanted to visit Moscow & St.P. (oh, lameness!) since I was something like 12, hee.
The 21st! This means I won't be here when DH comes out, and, luckily, I won't read any spoilers. At least, I hope so. I don't know Russian that well. Or, better, I don't know Russian. I only can say 'hello' and 'where is the taxi?' which is quite stupid but it will turn out to be very useful (or maybe I won't use taxi.. who knows!), so I think I should say I don't know it. However. :D
I'm leaving and so goodbye everyone, and see you on the 29th... or maybe later, since the first thing I'll do when I come home will be reading DH, without contacts with television AND computer (&internet)! Ok, that's all, I suppose. I'm gonna miss my dear fellow Vladi (which is my computer) and everything internet-related, actually.

Not to talk about the flight, which I still don't know how long it will be. And I'm something like - scared to no end. I hate planes. And flights. And not having feet stuck to the ground.

1. Finish Marie Antoinette, which is really pretty.
2. Something by Pirandello, aw ♥. Like Il gioco delle parti (The Game of Roles). I need to read something by Pirandello.
3. Senilità (As a man grows older), by Italo Svevo. I love Svevo, and I want to marry him (I wish he wasn't dead, though.). And I loved The confessions of Zeno, awww ♥ ♥ ♥.
4. Emma, by Jane Austen! I started reading it last summer, but didn't finish it. I really don't like Emma. But I've read Mansfiel Park, so I definitely can do it!
5. Raise high the roof beam, carpenters, by that-genius-who-wrote-The-Catcher-in-the-rye, better known as Salinger. I loved The catcher in the rye, and I love Holden, and I want to marry him too. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
6. Re-read The catcher in the rye, just because.
7. Go ask Alice. Never read it, but someone (don't remember who XD) told me it was good. Shame it doesn't exist the italian version, argh. I either don't know if it exists the english version here.

Okaaay. On Monday I'm having the final oral test, and I'm scared. I really am. Or better, I keep saying myself I'm not scared, I'm not scared, I'm not scared, and actually a part of my brain thinks I'm not scared.
Unluckily, the other half makes me trambling, and I find my hands shaking, and I have a shortness of breath.
So, I just want Monday to come quickly, so that everything will be over. I'm fed up with these exams.
I've only been writing about exams lately. Oh, how boring!

And moreover tonight, instead of hanging out with some friends and having fun, I'm going to work. Helly the barmaid is back, after almost a year. I won't even remember where all the drinks are. Yeh. But I need some money, and staying at the bar is better than staying at the restaurant, serving food. So.

Exams are *almost* over. Only the oral test is left, but it's ok, since I'll do well (I hope so XD)!

Yesterday evening I went playing volleyball with my team, a month after the end of our trainings, and now everything's aching. Argh.
Luckily we won. I've also seen two of my girls (I've been their volleyball coach from september til june) <3. In one week everything will be finished, and I will pass an awesome summer!
Must go to the doctor now. :D

Ok, I keep seeing Harry Potter spoilers warnings everywhere, about HP7. On tv, on the web, on newspaper.
A hacker seems to have discovered DH's ending, and again spoiler warnings everywhere.
The conclusion seems to have been revealed, but I am too scared of spoilers to check them out. I will avoid spoilers.
~~Even if I've always loved them~~.
And, moreover, always more and more pics of OotP are coming out, and I am looking forward to seeing that movie. I really can't wait, but July 11th is near, and I will have finished exams, and a looong HP-themed summer will be waiting for me. :D

No more math!

First two tests are gone, luckily. The essay's topics were totally unexpected (Dante! Whyyy?), but my essay was ok (it was about the Italian Consitution and stuff). Or at least, I hope.
Today we had math's test, and this was the problem, since I kinda suck at math. It was really difficult, but now I'm looking at the solutions of it, and I did something right.
Well, after all I already knew math wouldn't have gone well, so I'm pretty satisfied. ~~Almost~~. :D
But what cheers me up is thinking that I won't have to study math anymore in my whole life, which is just super duper awesome. No more math. I've studied it for 13 years, and that's really enough. Goodbye, evil math! No more calculation with letters. I hated that. :D

Aaand.. nomore tests until Monday, with the scary Third Test. And then the oral examination. And it will be over. Ooof.

Tonsillitis is almost over. It passed very quickily, which is quite strange, but I won't rant about this! :D
Luckily something good still happens, sometimes!
Yesterday I passed the whole afternoon in my city park, lying in the sun, don't caring about exams, with a great friend of mine and a guy we both like a lot. Awesome, awesome, we had a great time!<3
And I didn't think about exams for 4 hours. Great!

Ok, final exams are coming, and I really don't have enough time to do everything I'm supposed to. I pass all day on books, reviewing English, French, Latin, science, physics (can't spell that!), and what else. I'm tired, and I've never studied so many hours a day, which is strange, since in my school you are supposed to study loads of hours a day. But I really don't like studying that much. :D
I use pc half an hour a day, which is craziness, for me!XD

Well, kinda.
In these days what I always and only do is going to school, coming back, studying and writing my final thesis, sleeping, waking up. And then a new boring day begins anew.
School's finishing on saturday, but exams are beginning on the 20th, and nobody knows when they're gonna finish.
Moreover, I can barely stand some of my classmates, and I just hope school's gonna finish soon, so that I won't have to see them again.

This morning, in a village near mine a chemical factory exploded. That was kinda scaring. We were having italian class when the headmaster's voice (through the intercom) told us to close windows and doors, because there could have been a toxic cloud (?). Oh gosh. But nothing happened, luckily.

Tomorrow I have an interview for that job I wrote about. W00t!

I applied for a job in this shop, in Orio (it's a huge shopping center), for this summer. It would be great to get that job, because they're looking for a clerk (?) from the end of July til the beginning of September and, since I'm coming back from Russia on the 27th of July, that would be the perfection. Let's hope.

I just finished re-reading Halfblood Prince. And I will never stop saying that that book is awful. Oh gosh. Totally disliked it.
Now feel free to hate me. :D
Nothing happened, apart from the end. It's like a fanfiction. The whole Harry/Ginny thingy.. bah. Go Harry/Luna! <3 ~~Even if I really don't care about Harry.~~

Oh, the apricots!

Apricots! Today my mum came home with looooaaads of apricots! <3
I love my mum, because she knows how much I love apricots! *ç* I've been waiting for them for a whole year. And now I've tons of apricots to eat, Yum! I would keep eating them.
Today we had that math exam, that went quite awfully, but, honestly, whatever. :D
Now that I've got my apricots to eat, I'm the happiest girl on earth. And in 20 minutes the first episode of Ugly Betty will air here in Italy, and, since I'm looking forward to seeing it... :D

Tomorrow I have a written 5-hour math test. Like there will be at the final exams in June. And this sucks so much, because I suck at math, and my test is gonna be awful. Awful. Luckily... just 20 more days of school and then no more math for the rest of my life. *o*
On Sunday we went to the TorinoComics in Turin, and it was awesome! *____* Our cosplay was just perfect (well, it wasn't, but it was so beaufitul!) and everybody wanted to take photos of (and with) us! We were like stars on the red carpet. :D
And I bought a wonderful Kyou (from Furuba <3) bag! *____* Aw! The prettyness.
