Hellsing Literary Analysis

I am a 17-year-old high school student. In an attempt to prove that a story does not have to be told through a "classic novel" to have literary merit, I have sought and received permission from my teacher to read and analyze Hellsing for my English class. Now I have to break the story down into certain elements. These elements include the opening, the most important scene, and the ending, as well as title, pattern (motif), symbol, and character analysis. Each and every one of these elements, in turn, must contribute to the final, most important element, the theme. Although I have many of my own ideas for each of these elements, I thought there might be (at least a few) people here that might want to lend me a helping hand. I'm sure there are many of you who would just jump at the chance to share your insights, and I would appreciate it if you would share them with me.

For those of you that are interested, the character I have chosen to analyze is (of course) Alucard, and the theme is "The only people worthy of calling themselves 'humans' are the ones with the will to choose to live and die as humans" (if you feel you have an idea for a more appropriate theme, please share it). I know that the story hasn't ended yet, but anyone who has an idea of what the ending might be may feel free to share it, as well.

Thank you.
