In a world full of negativity and pain, art has the ability to inspire people to make amazing changes in their lives. Art can provide beauty and hope, make us laugh or cry, help us understand other cultures and angles, but also challenge us to think differently about the world around us. For many people, art is an escape from the most difficult aspects of life. Art inspires beauty and serves as a source of strength during the hardest of times.
Art also reminds us of our personal approach and potential, which comes in clutch when we choose to pursue our dreams. Connecting with our creativity gives us access to a waterfall of inspiration, which can help us grow through any challenge and allow us to find purpose and build the life we want. Art helps with the recovery of physical and mental health by providing a creative outlet for self-expression, which is proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Engaging in guided artistic activities promotes mindfulness and the processing of emotions, leading to an improved well-being and self-resilience.
Additionally, art can be used as a tool for raising awareness about important issues, giving rise to social change and conversation topics.

Meet Jeff, The Founder of Art Hearts
"In recovery, I noticed that the health institutions were lacking in the inspiration department. Luckily, I had my mom who supported me and bought me a cool notebook that inspired me to keep writing in it. Journaling and reflecting on my daily habits really helped me get myself together. After completing the recovery program, I became a cook, and that's where I got the idea for Art Hearts, as in artichoke hearts. I think it's important to know that not everybody has family like that, and this is how we can help." Jeff Stickney
