OurPot
beta
A private, local-first shared expense ledger for households. Record expenses, recurring bills, and settlements — without handing your finances to the cloud.
Android builds available on GitHub. For iOS TestFlight access, send us an email.
Your household ledger lives with you.
Records stay on your devices. Sync happens directly between household members, peer-to-peer. No central server ever sees your data.
Local-first storage
Data is written to your local database instantly, ensuring 100% availability even offline. Record on a train, in a basement, anywhere.
Direct peer sync
Encrypted updates are sent directly between household devices. No cloud relay, no middleman. Built on the Holepunch stack.
Export anytime
Your data is yours. Export everything to CSV with a single tap. No lock-in, no subscription required to access your own history.
Built for real household life.
Categories with icons, one-tap recording, pooled or split expenses, and a quiet design that stays out of your way.
Not another fintech app.
OurPot is not a budgeting app, not a Splitwise replacement, and not fintech. It’s a quiet notebook for shared household costs.

FAQ
What if I lose my phone?
Your ledger is distributed across household devices. Install on a new phone, accept an invite from another member, and the full history syncs back.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All recording and viewing works completely offline. Devices sync automatically in the background when connectivity returns.
How is my data secured?
End-to-end encryption ensures only your household devices can read your data. There is no server to breach. Keys live in your device’s secure enclave.
What is a household?
Any group that repeatedly shares real-life costs. Couples, roommates, families, travel groups — anyone who needs a calm shared record.
