What a completely useless bit of software not to be able to password protect files on Toshiba external hard drives. You would have thought that Toshiba would have got their act together by now on this problem.

I have an external Toshiba HDD Store basics. The software does not recognise the HDD, neither USB drives. Says drive is not connected.
