At Highlands, we believe that education is only possible when students feel safe, supported, and informed. That’s why we’re hosting a Know Your Immigration Rights Training and Resource Fair, which makes sure every student and family in our community understands the protections they have and the resources available to them.

For many of our students, especially immigrant and refugee families, uncertainty about legal rights, housing, healthcare, or employment can create barriers to success in the classroom. This event is about breaking down those barriers.

Together with Assemblymember Maggie Krell and Sacramento City Councilwoman Caity Maple, we’ll share practical information, connect families with trusted community resources, and answer questions in a supportive environment.
