Harmony Cleaning Co is a newly opened London-based commercial cleaning company specialising in two areas: commercial cleaning for offices and workspaces, and communal cleaning for managed residential and mixed-use properties. We operate to the standards defined by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and are SafeContractor approved. We take over existing cleaning contracts as well as start fresh engagements with new clients.
Both. We are actively taking over upkeep cleaning contracts from incumbent providers — including mid-cycle handovers — and onboarding brand-new contracts. Our transition team handles key handovers, rota mapping, staff introductions under TUPE where applicable, and SLA continuity so there is no drop in service on day one. Typical handover timelines run 2–4 weeks from signed SLA to live service, with a detailed mobilisation plan shared in week one.
We focus exclusively on commercial cleaning (offices, workspaces, professional environments) and communal cleaning (shared residential areas — lobbies, stairwells, corridors, bin stores, lifts, and common parts of managed buildings). Within those we cover daily, weekly, and periodic deep cleans, internal & external window cleaning (including reach-and-wash up to ~20m), carpet & hard-floor care using Carpet Foundation approved methods, washroom replenishment, and waste segregation aligned with UK waste classification guidance. We do not provide domestic or private household cleaning.
We serve Greater London with a focus on Central, City, and inner-London boroughs — including the City of London, Westminster, Camden, Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and the main commercial corridors out to Canary Wharf, Stratford, and White City. Yes. Every cleaner is DBS-checked (Enhanced), holds the right to work in the UK per Home Office guidance, is uniformed, and completes our 40-hour onboarding aligned with the BICSc Cleaning Professional's Skills Suite. Harmony Cleaning Co carries £10m public liability and £5m employers' liability insurance (statutory minimum for employers' liability is £5m per the HSE) — certificates available on request. We are also an accredited Living Wage employer.
We price by scope, square footage, frequency, and shift timing — never by opaque hourly blocks. Every quote is itemised so you can see exactly what you are paying for, with a breakdown of labour, consumables, equipment amortisation, and management overhead. Contracts are typically rolling monthly with a 30-day notice period; no long lock-ins. For public-sector or procurement-led engagements we can align to CCS frameworks and Procurement Act 2023 requirements.
Yes. Evening, overnight, weekend, and early-morning shifts are standard for commercial and communal sites — we build rotas around how your building actually operates so cleaning is invisible to tenants and staff. All night-work is staffed under UK night-work regulations with documented risk assessments and lone-working protocols per HSE lone-worker guidance.
We default to EU Ecolabel and Nordic Swan certified chemicals where performance allows, with full COSHH data sheets on site for every product. Equipment includes HEPA-filter vacuums, microfibre systems, colour-coded cloths to prevent cross-contamination, and battery-powered scrubber-dryers for large floor areas. We can specify hospital-grade or food-safe ranges on request.
We operate under an ISO 14001-aligned environmental management system: concentrated chemistry to cut shipping volumes, refillable dispensers, and reusable microfibre over single-use wipes. Waste is segregated at source and routed through licensed carriers registered with the Environment Agency. Monthly reports include cleaning hours, consumables used, and kg of waste by stream.
Every contract has a named account manager, a 2-hour response SLA during working hours, and a documented escalation path. We operate to ISO 9001-aligned quality management with monthly audits scored against the BICSc cleaning-quality framework, shared with you each month.
