Following the activities of a Steering Committee with the same name, it was established in 2013 as DHST Commission and co-commissioned by DLMPST in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aims of this Commission are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To enhance our understanding of computing by means of historical and philosophical explorations;<\/li><li>To enforce and support collaborations among researchers involved in any of the topics relevant to HaPoC<\/li><li>To promote the organization of scientific and cultural events that strengthen knowledge and<br \/>relevance of computing.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HAPOC is an Inter-division Commission of the&nbsp;Division of the History of Science and Technology&nbsp;and the&nbsp;Division of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology.
