Biography

Hi! I am Haocheng Yin, a Ph.D. student in Robotics at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I am deeply honored to be co‑advised by Prof. Lu Gan and Prof. Yongsheng Chen. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, I earned my master's degree at ETH Zürich, during which I had the honor of completing my master's thesis at Harvard University under the supervision of Prof. Heng Yang.

My research goal is to develop intelligent embodied agents that are generalizable across diverse tasks and adaptable to unseen environments in the physical world. To address this goal, my research currently explores:

  • Analyzing visual representations for robust robot control.
  • Designing generalizable control modules for sim-to-real transfer.
  • Building compositional generative models for effective world modeling.
