Below is plot bunny that came into my head this morning. Maybe some out there can turn it into a full story.

"Scotland Yard sees John as Sherlock's babysitter. The criminals sees John as Sherlock's sidekick. Mycroft sees John as Sherlock's convenient bodyguard. And Sherlock himself sees John as his Personal Assistant. Almost everyone sees John as Sherlock's boyfriend. None of these statements are true but one could be.

So who is John Hamish Watson? John is a Captain of the Fifth Northumberland Fusiliers in British Army. Even if he was discharged that will never change. John is a medical doctor. A damn good if you ask him yourself. John is sick of very perceptions of him. And he is going to let everyone know it."

This month I give you two fluffy Johnlocks follow by two more serious/angsty fics.

1.) The Case of the Teddy Interrogation by Yarsian (K+) Young Hamish Watson-Holmes creates a crime scene out of his stuffed animals. A super cute and funny Parent-lock.

2.) A Week is Just Seven Days (Isn't It?) by scifigirl47 (T) When John heads overseas for a week, Sherlock's forced to fend for himself. It goes about as well as anyone could have anticipated. Which is to say, very, very poorly. Don't worry, things'll be fine in just seven days.

3.) Child of Destruction by Mother-of-Monsters (M) Pain is not the only burden John Watson carries. Sherlock isn't helpful in that respect. After all, the all-knowing detective doesn't believe in monsters. A unique supernatural BAMF!John fic.

4.) Expensive, But Worth It. by velvet_mace (M) Prompt: John tries to/accomplishes leaving Sherlock; Sherlock kills him. Yeah, I want it that dark. Also, I want the aftermath more than anything. (Part of Sherlock BBC Kink Meme at sherlockbbc_fic) One of the creepiest Dark!Sherlock fics I have ever read but it is so good I just can't not read it. Warning: Character Death, Abuse of a Corpse

Here are some Sherlock/John stories that I'm following on AO3

1.) To Light Another's Path by Beautiful Fiction (M) WIP Teaching John to observe seems to be a losing battle, but when Sherlock falls ill and submits himself to John's care, will he realise that there is more to life than the science of deduction? Eventual J/S POST TGG Sick!Fics are a guilty pleasure of mine.

2.) Missing by dramatisecho (T) WIP In which, the Captain of the Fifth Northumberland Fusiliers intentionally disappears, and the world's only Consulting Detective chases after him. Post-Reichenbach AU. I do love how John gets back to Sherlock after he 'comes back to life'.

3.) Their Whole Life Through Series by eight_demands (G) WIP If his patient thought he was the first person to ever try to intimidate John Watson, he was sadly mistaken. John sometimes considered, in his own head, the subtitle of his Afghanistan years to be "Arseholes with Guns who Love to Yell." If anything, being verbally abused by a haughty git who was bleeding all over him brought back a rush of warm nostalgia. Basically this is a John doesn't meet Sherlock at Bart's. He meets him as a patient at Sarah's clinic.

4.) A Series of Mistakes by Waldo (NC-17) WIP Sherlock hasn't been right since Irene. John has a pretty good idea how he can help, but exactly how the hell does one turn casually to Sherlock Holmes and say, "So was your brother right? *Are* you still a virgin?"

1.) In The Land Of The Blind by entangled_now at libraryofsol (R) Sherlock's been acting strangely for days. There's a claustrophobic silence to the flat, experiments tossed aside or abandoned, cases ignored. It's almost as if nothing matters any more. John's determined to know why.

2.) These Lines of Lightening by Handful of Silence (T) AU. Ever since he was born, John has been able to perceive people's auras. So he can see straight away that there's something special about Sherlock Holmes. John/Sherlock, Mystrade.

3.) Mission Accomplished by beer_good_foamy (R) The first, last and hardest duty of all Watchers. Buffy has been dead for 24 hours, and there is nothing more for Giles to do... no, wait, he has one last job. One last mission to send his Slayer on. There is definitely a tissue warning with this one. I absolutely love how the author skip between the teacher at the Council to Giles getting Buffy ready. It is simply a beautiful fic. Warning: character death (post-Gift)

4.) The Ghosts That Haunt Me 1, 2, 3 by labyrinth_01 (PG-13) Brenda reveals her painful past to Fritz. I always wanted to know more about Brenda past relationship. She seemed to act like she had been hurt several time by men. Labyrinth does a wonderful job of exploring Brenda hypothetical past. There is sequel called Penance, Past and Present (PG-13) that you can find at closer_fic . Warnings: rape, domestic abuse

Sorry it took so long to post this month but we moved to a different state and it has been crazy. Recently I have started to read Sherlock Holmes/John Watson fics. I didn't even know that there was a modern Sherlock on BBC and there are a lot of great fic for the show out there. While they might be set in the Sherlock BBC universe I always picture Robert Downey Jr. & Jude Law in my head because they are so yummy.

1.) 404 error: file not found by nejem at sherlockbbc_fic (PG) Old!Sherlock is diagnosed with dementia. As his memory loss progresses, he writes little reminders and puts them up everywhere--reminders on pretty much anything, from the day's errands to observations or random facts to memories. (Part of Sherlock BBC Kink Meme)

This story makes me cry everytime. It is beautifully written.

2.) John Was a Good Boy (But It Feels Great To be a Liar) by mldrmtcmglmnc (M) John says "I'm suddenly fighting the urge to steal an ashtray." or something similar. This is because old habits die hard. As it so happens, John is a better pickpocket than Sherlock. (Part of Sherlock BBC Kink Meme at sherlockbbc_fic)

3.) Planet Sherlock by pir8fancier (NC-17) John and Sherlock devise a rating system for their sexual encounters.

4.) The Velveteen Doctor by lantean_drift (R) A series of events that show John just how real he has become to Sherlock – like a bright, brilliant flash of colour in an otherwise greyscale world.

I have recently started watching The Big Bang Theory on TBS and have so far come to love the show. So this month I'm going to recommend some Penny/Sheldon fics that I have found surprisingly enjoying.

1.) The Descending Spiral Derivation by TriplePirouette (K+) Without the promise of an acting career, Penny falls into a downward spiral. One person desperately wants her to get out of it.

2.) The Paladin Protocol by SpaceAnJL (T) Every journey has to start somewhere. This one began when Penny found an alternative to paintball, and Sheldon dusted off an old skill.

3.) Upside Down by TempestJo (M) It all starts when Sheldon has a bad week and Penny resets the balance unexpectedly...

4.) The Intimacy Inspiration Initiative by danakate (T) Sheldon gets stuck again and the solution leads to some surprising events.

2.) Decoy by AndreaX (M)   Alex and Bobby are asked to act as decoys for a son of Sam type of killer. What could possibly go wrong?

3-a.) Hell Hath No Fury by Susan G (PG-13)   "Do you have any idea what she has in mind?" Deakins asked.

"No," Bobby answered.

3-b.) It Sequel "Even When You're Not There" by Susan G (NC-17) The way that your fingers run through my hair...And how your scent lingers even when you're not there...

2-b.) Its Sequel She Understands by hellmouthprincess (FR15)   Buffy and Jack are hiding, firmly fixed behind their masks, but somehow when they’re together they can’t hide anymore, and the mask slips. Dawn sees this, and wishes she didn't.

3.) The Convergence Series by jezaeiri (FR7-FR18)   There are no casual connections.

1.) Spring Fever by Jeannie Mac (R) No, Alex tells herself. You are NOT seriously considering jumping your partner's bones right here in the parking lot in front of God and everyone. But she kind of is. B/A established relationship. *fans self* Very hot. I would love to get Goren in my car if this happened.

2.) With a Vengeance by piaffe417 (K) Deakins tunes in to "The Goren and Eames Show" It just absoutely love how Alex shocks Bobby at the end of the fic. It is absolutely perfect.

3.) Trick or Treat by surreallis (PG-13) Looking back at 8 year of Halloweens together and the 9th at a abandoned mental hospital.

4.) This Year's Model by Andreax (M) Rodgers brings some autopsy reports to Goren, hoping he'll see the connection that she does.

This month I'm going to recommend several WIP that I'm tracking on FF.net.

1) Time Altered by cuz-snarry's-awesome (M) WIP Harry gets thrown back in time, he's placed in his parent's fifth year. How will Harry deal with seeing his parents but trying not to change the future at the same time. And how will he react to his new found friendship with...Snape? Will be Snarry

2) To Shape and Change by Blueowl WIP AU. Time Travel. Snape goes back in time, holding the knowledge of what is to come if he fails. No longer holding a grudge, he seeks to shape Harry into the greatest wizard of all time, starting on the day Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley.

3) Stranger In a Too Familiar Land by Fyreheart WIP Harry Potter successfully fulfilled his destiny by killing Voldemort. As he lay dying, he was abruptly summoned to another world. What happens when a tired and broken Harry discovers that he's expected to save their world from another Dark Lord?

4.) The Changer by Vingilot (M) WIP Harry Potter has been missing since he was eight. Now, seven years later, Severus Snape has a one night stand that just doesn't seem to end. How long will they be able to keep their secrets? This was the first Snarry fics I ever read. I find it hard to find Snarry fics that I enjoy because I believe that something big has to happen between them to change their relationship. Most of the fics either completely ignore that fact that they hate each other or have some totally unbelievable happen to change their relationship.

2) The Weasley Plot (T) AU, Complete, post OotP, No HBP, The Weasleys beleive family comes first, even if they are not blood, Arthur must choose his course what is right or what is easy, Harry Potter or Albus Dumbledore.

3) Goblin Conspiracy (T) AU, Post OotP, No HBP, Harry knows that he must take on Voldemort and finds unexpected allies

4) There is Only Power (K+) AU Post OotP, possible HBP content but not HBP complient, No pairing.Independant Harry. Summer after 5th year

1) Unexpected Consequences (T) What if the combination of the Elder Wand and the removal of the Horcrux had unknown side effects on Harry that not even Dumbledore could have foreseen?

2) Six Months Later (M) Six months after the final battle, things change. Betrayal with a twist.

3.) Harry Potter & The Fall of the Dark Lord by Kalen Darkmoon (M). ABANDONED Harry returns from a disastrous fifth year and, in his hurt and anger, lashes out at the wizarding world in a letter to the Prophet. Can love really be the 'power he knows not'? I usually don't like to recommend abandoned fics but the reason why I like this fic is because of the first chapter. The letter that Harry writes to Daily Prophet explains why I can't believe that Dumbledore and Snape are good people. One thing that she pointed out that I didn't think about before was why Fred and George never noticed Pettigrew's name on the Marauder's Map.

4.) Harry Potter and Afterlife Inc by dunuelos (T). Harry died in the battle with Voldemort. What happens when he meets the Grim Reaper? Especially when the Reaper isn't happy with him. It is based on a challenge given by Reptilia28 (you need have have an account with portkey to see this page) on portkey.org. I absolutely love this challenge unfortunately most of the responses to this challenge have not been completed. The find the idea that Harry wasn't as lucky as everyone thought and that it took multiple deaths for him to get things right very funny. Plus having a pissed off grim reaper gives the author a chance to have a lot of fun.

1) In this World and the Next by robst (M) A Re-do with payback on the menu Warnings: mentions of rape The one thing that seems a little weird to me is how much Luna and Ginny are at the Potter home.

2) Lily Potter and the Worst Holiday (T) For Lily Potter, Halloween always dredges up memories of the day her son was murdered. Now, sixteen years to the day of her son's murder, Professor Potter must deal with six visitors. Ships include: Lily/James and Harry/Hermione. I was always a little bit suspicious of why Dumbledore takes all of the credit for killing Voldemort. But then I'm of the opinion that Dumbledore wasn't as light as JK tires to paint him.

3.) Saying No by Bobmin (M) Post OOTP, Harry is fed up and won't take it anymore. Dumbledore's worst nightmare! A very funny crack fic. It reminds me of Rorschach's Blot's 'Make a Wish'.

4) Harry Potter and the Manipulator of Destiny by Wheezy1 (T). Post OotP. Harry finds that Dumbledore has been less than honest or helpful with him, takes control of his own life and finds the training he needs from others. Pairings: Harry/Hermione, Neville/Luna. Some of the things I don't like about this fic is that I feel like the realtionship between Harry and Hermione seems to move at a snails place. After all of that time together in the trunk I think there realtionship would have moved quicker not slower. I also I'm not a big fan when they go into the paintings to learn some magic from the founders. I'm all for ghost or just listening to portraits of the founders but acutally going into them is a little much for me. I do love the little portable home they made the trunk into and all of the times in front of the 'telly'. For the most part I feel it walks the thin line between fandom and OOC and every once in a while stepping over the line.

2.) The Return of the Prodigal by Lachesis (R) When Harry is tossed backwards in time through a magical accident, he has no choice but to return the hard way. One day at a time.

3.) Escaping the Paradox by Meri (NC-17) After Harry is thrown back in time to 1971, he has several choices to make.

4.) Throwaways by RaeWhit (M). Disposable and dispensable…one a villain, one a hero. Severus and Harry share more than they ever would've imagined. It might sounds silly but repetition of the first line "Potter…the last person on earth whom he had any desire to see." and how the author slowly changes is what drew me into the story. It is wonderful short tale of Snape and Harry learning about each other.

1.) Lilies by snowpuppies (PG). Buffy buys white roses for her mother's grave. But who are the lilies for? Warings: Implied Character Death (not Buffy) This fic has won two awards. It is a must read for all fans of BtVS. This story makes me cry every time no matter how many time I have read it before.

2.) The Fact of Unlife by DonSample (FR13) When Wolfram and Hart threaten Hank, he gets to learn what and who Buffy truly is.

3-a & b.) Anya's Curse (PG) & the sequal Anya's Blessing (PG) by elementalv Hank gets a clue. & Conversations after the curse. What drew me to this story was how Hank finds out about Buffy's night job. *wink* Plus, the way how Anya makes the situation better or worse depending on how you look at things.

1.) But, It's Just a Painting by FreakyDeaky01 (M)Why is everyone always so afraid of disturbing Walburga? Warning: Language...lots and lots of language. Very Very Funny.

2.) It's My Life by Fyreheart (K). After his second year, Harry begins to realize Hogwarts isn't everything it could be. Are there other options available? I love a good Harry-goes-to-a-different-school fic. I guess I never really understood why Harry put up with all of the attempts on his life at Hogwarts. I would have tired to do some place different.

3.) Journey to a New Start by wolfwalker (G) A powerful warrior Harry tired and alone after the final battle takes one last chance to find happiness in another world and time The parts that confused me were the description of the pylons and arrays. But since that actually looked didn't really affect the story line I kind of just gave up try to understand those parts.

4.) Evil Be Thou My Good by Ruskbyte (M) Nine years ago Vernon Dursley bought an ancient puzzle box. His nephew managed to open it. The entire Dursley family suffered the consequences. Now, in the midst of Voldemort's second reign of terror, Harry Potter is convinced the only way to defeat the Dark Lord; is to call upon an even greater evil. This decided, Harry begins his plans to recreate the Lament Configuration... and to open it... again. Warnings: graphic death scences

This weekend I went out and bought a nook. I went and got it on 11th and by the 12th it was broken. There was some problem with the screen. I ended up calling B&Ns tech support and they told me that it was probably damaged in transit and take it to the store and they would replace it. The manager at the store tired to blame it on me. I keep asking me if I dropped or was pressing on the screen. I had not even used it for 24 hours. I wanted to beat the managers head in with my crutches. He did end up replacing it but he acted this he was doing me a huge favor. So I got a new one and I do love it. I love being able to read fanfic on it when I'm away from my computer. Right now I have 240 epub fanfic on my Nook. I still need to format 31 fanfic so they will look right on my Nook and I will put the remaining 138 fanfics on there. I can't wait to have my entire collective at my finger tips.

1.) Things you have to get used to when John Dorian is your boyfriend by puritybrown (R) Four ways Dr Cox's life has changed. This is a classic JD/Cox fic. Every fan of this pairing should read this fic. I love how their relationship becomes public in this fic.

2.) His Reluctance by taelynhawker (M) It began as something simple. It's anything but. Now he has to make a decision. The only reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is because I really would like one more chapter to reslove things even more between JD and Perry.

3.) Liar Liar by And She Would Fall Xx (M) >He confesses his love in the bedroom and you'll just have to accept the fact that that's the best you'll ever get. Because as much as you tell yourself that tomorrow will be different, you know it'll be exactly the same. -At least he loves you... right?- While I love the JD/Cox ship and usually stick to reading stories where they are happy together I think this one-shot shows how easily Cox could just use JD and how JD would be powerless against him.

4.) My Own Doggie by Kipli (K) Jack with minorCoxJD: Cox and JD are in the process of buying an actual house. Jordan is not thrilled. Jack really just wants a dog of his own.

I love how Buffy gets Giles to tell her who he is loves. ;0)

1.) Perception is Everything by Kendra James (K+) WIP When Severus Snape is left in charge of Hogwarts over the christmas break, he is less than pleased to discover Harry will be one of his charges. Events force him to face that Mr Potter may not be quite what he has assumed all these years. I love how the act of watching Harry while he is sick and away from his friends and emenies he gets to see the real Harry. I can't wait for the author to finish.

2-a & b.) Equilibrium by Twinheart (T) When Harry Potter comes to Hogwarts, Snape is forced to reexamine his initial impressions. I love how Snape slowly see the true Harry plus how he calls the tutor sesssion 'detentions'. There is a sequel called Evolution but it has been ABANDONED.

3.) Augury by Ria Rose (K+) In a small coffee shop in London, Severus Snape meets a version of Harry Potter that both unsettles him and intrigues him. From here, a game is played. AU, post 5th year, general fiction.
