Hi, I’m Joel Compo. I got my start in remodeling back in 2001, working with my dad in his drywall business. After years of learning every aspect of the trade, from hanging drywall to handyman tasks, I launched Hammerhead Remodeling in 2012. What started with small projects quickly grew into full home remodels.
Today, my team and I specialize in custom interiors like basements, kitchens, and bathrooms. We partner with local, trusted tradespeople to ensure your project turns out exactly as you envision. During the personalized design phase, you'll see exactly what your project will look like with clear, detailed 2D plans and 3D renderings.
Once you're completely comfortable with the plan, we'll sign the contract. We'll also schedule your project start date.
You'll always know what's happening with your project and when the team will be at your home. We also clean up after ourselves.

Some of our basements might include multiple bathrooms, laundry rooms, wet bars, kitchenettes, home theaters, etc. Each of these add-on items can range anywhere from 15k to 75k or more, depending on the scope of work and the finishes you select. Each project is unique.
Yes. If your vision changes after we start the project, we’ll discuss your ideas openly, outline any adjustments to the budget or schedule, and ensure you’re fully satisfied.
While I perform various aspects of the project, the subcontractors I use are Craftsmen at their trade. Even things hidden behind walls, like wiring, plumbing, and HVAC, are organized and well thought out. I feel very fortunate to have such talented people working on my team.
