Anyone check out the website for Ace Attorney: MIles Edgeworth? Because it is a beautiful, beautiful creation. The new character artwork, especially. Have I mentioned how much I love Franziska von Karma? Girl is so fiiine and amazing. And so is Miles Edgeworth. Those Von Karmas may be crazy but the kids that grow up in that family are really fine. I'm not sure how I feel about the gameplay yet, what with these "connect the facts" and stuff, but I don't care I just want this game already. I think I already was told, but does anyone know if Phoenix will show up in the game or not?

-Lean Cuisine is mankind's greatest invention. I am heating some as I write this.
-Part two of Anatomy and Physiology test is drawing nearer and nearer; to do list: remember diagrams of 170 panels worth of material and memorize three possible essay outlines + diagrams. Good luck to me.
-Glee is coming back this Wednesday!! Must. Watch. Well, that or Modern Family.
-Will have to put off NanoWriMo for two days. Wednesday night I will be writing 5000 words - must buy coffee.

Glee 1.07 Mash-up, Pandora Hearts Ch 42

Last night's episode was pretty good, I think.
Things I liked:

★ Quinn wearing something besides her cheer leading outfit. She is so beautiful in blue, what the heck. Now I can see why Puck is so ga-ga for her. I cried when those guys poured a slushie on her, negl. I don't care about FInn getting slushied but seeing it happen to Quinn. :(
★ The Puck/Rachel relationship was kind of cute. I didn't really buy their sweet ~sentimental~ moments because god what are those, but they did it okay. And I'm still waiting for their friendship in which they spend weekends in a secret fort, scheming how to get their man/woman while Finn/Quinn remains as oblivious as ever (take notice, Ryan Murphy). Have I ever mentioned I like Finn/Quinn? Because I do.
★ Kurt slushie-ing himself for Finn. So, so sweet. Finn you are so lucky that Kurt would do that for you, okay. Kurt could do muuuch better. But I like how the girls took him to the girls bathroom lol. Wow. And also Kurt's pissyness during Bust a move lmao. Now it's been ingrained into my head that that's how all people from ontd react when they watch Will dance.
★ Sue and Will swingdancing! So random at first, but it was amazing. And I love cold/hard Sue more than I love Sue in love. That was so surreal.
★ I see you Mike Chang! And I love you too. Mike/Brittany anyone? But damn it, this show is a ship killer.
★ Brittany and Santana are so underrated. Brittany is so dumb but she's hilarious, and Santana is such a bitch but I don't know why I like her anyway lol. And I probably will continue to, until those ~layers~ start coming in. This show takes itself very seriously...
★ EMMA singing. Jayma Mays is amazing, I was expecting a weird voice but it was very good.
★ PUCK was amazing this episode. His quotes were all just so spectacular. And his voice overs haha. I still think Kurt needs a voice-over.

Things that are no no no no.

(-) Sorry guys, not really liking Will's performances. I don't know, they're just grating on me. It doesn't make any sense. I just don't like Will is probably why.
(-) Not enough Sue or Kurt. Kudos for the amount of Puck, though

And regarding things in Glee in general (warning, spoilers for future episodes too)... (Highlight for spoilers.)
Is it just me or is Rachel getting/going to get so many romance plot lines? It's getting really ridiculous. Finn, Puck, Jacob, Will, and whoever Jonathan Groff's character is going to be? And that's within twenty two episodes...She'll have had five love interests. Jesus Christ. Ryan Murphy better deliver on his other characters who are so unloved right now (see: Artie, Tina, Matt, MIke, Santana, Brittany, Mercedes, hell basically everyone).

ALSO FUCK YEAH Finn/Kurt duet, and defying gravity is up on youtube (only a short clip of it though)! I am so lucking forward to Wheels, because we need some serious Artie back story/screen time otherwise I will cut a bitch. And wheel-chair number is coming! Yeess.

Did anyone else read the Mark Salling interview with afterelton.com where they talk about Puck/Kurt? He's such an awesomely chill guy, and he seems so amused by it. He is officially in my good books now.

Chapter 42 ( I think, sorry I'm not sure haha) of Pandora Hearts came out! There's only one word that rings in my head.

BRB crying. I really hope Break goes out in a bang, assuming that he's going to die (which has been really heavily foreshadowed, so I wouldn't be surprised sadly). Of course I'm hoping he doesn't die, but most characters I like seem to die sooner or later. Don't die Break, please, Pandora Hearts wouldn't be the same without you.

It's been twenty four hours since I got any sleep. And well, I'm sure those of you who watch Glee are rather familiar with the face that Kurt makes when he's drunk? That's pretty much how I look right now, if not worse. I had to write a research essay on my Favorite Molecule of Life (FML), which was sucrose, and oh god I don't think I've ever BSed something as hard as I bsed that paper. Oh well, at least it's over with - I want to see Where the Wild Things Are so bad, oh my god. For the cute little boy if nothing else (since I don't remember what in the world happened in the books lmao).

So because of PSATs this Wednesday, a chemistry test thursday, and that demon research essay due Friday, I had to wait until now to watch Glee's new episode! I actually thought it was pretty good, but that's because I got to selectively choose which scenes to watch (fast forwarded through no air? Why would you say I'd do that?!). And also, anyone watch any spoiler clips for the next few episodes? I am so excited.

★ Is anyone else shipping Rachel/Quinn rather intensely as a result of the last few episodes? They are so slashable, it's ridiculous.
★ MIKE CHANG! You adorable, cute little gerbil of an asian. I love him and his dance moves, and how dare you shoot down his pop and lock Will. I would have wanted to see it!
★ I love how the show addresses the minority complaints that it's been receiving, lmfao. I love minor characters more, so it's not really because they're minority groups but I really liked Sue's group's performance. I want to see more minor characters interact, oh my god. ♥ Maybe it wasn't this performance (dur I forgot) but Kurt and Mike sang to each other once like for a second or two - ON OUR WAY TO CANON. Just kidding. Maybe. (And people talk about some Kurt/Puck interaction somewhere in this episode? Anyone care to point a lost soul around?)
★ Quinn bb is so pretty, unbelievably pretty. And I love her bitch face. I didn't really care for the Cheerio performance, but you know, whatever. It had Quinn and football playing chicks, so who gives a shit about that.
★ I can't be the only one who gets really bad second hand embarrassment when Kurt was dancing, right? The chair thing? Oh lordy, I love you Kurt but I had to turn away. Bb is so cute though so he is pardoned. And he got lines, and he talked, and it was all COOL! Awesome. And Artie getting carried up by the three football players, lmao. And Rachel showing them how to storm out properly - she's becoming so lovable. WHATS GOING ON SELF?!

★ Puck singing Sweet Caroline! Anyone watch it? It was pretty good, his singing is better than Finn's in my opinion. And I love how the lady with the article was like "pay attention to Finn in the background" when in fact the shot not-so-subtly pans TO him, haha. I actually really love the background scenes in this show, there are little interactions you wouldn't notice if you didn't pay attention to the back ground. Chris is especially good at these - I don't know, every time I look at Kurt he's doing something cute/awesome/HBIC-esque. Speaking of Kurt...He and Mercedes were the best part of that for me. "TOUCHING HAAAANDS!!" And Mike Chang/Brittany? Anyone else see it? Now that I think about it, he does kind of stand next to her... Don't take Mike and Puck away from Kurt, Ryan Murphy!

Pairings that are probably going to happen because this is TV and TV works this way and always will: Finn/Rachel, Puck/Quinn, Will/Emma, Artie/Tina. So that leaves Santana, Brittany, Kurt, Mercedes, Mike and Matt left... I vote for Kurt/Mike, Santana/Brittany, and maybe Matt/Mercedes - I'll get back to you when Matt has a line lmao. Or maybe Santana/Matt, weren't they dancing together?

And Kurt/Rachel competing -KURT BETTER WIN GOD DAMN. I have a feeling though this is the episode with the society and gay issues come into play. He won't be allowed to do it because he's gay, or that he's a boy or something like that, and Rachel will play a leading role in trying to reason with/help him because she's his ~friend~ (as the song says). I can't wait for them to become closer friends; Kurt should be BFFs with all the girls, I don't know why this isn't so yet.

So right, that is all for now. Start prayin' for my PSATs and my survival of the three week long hiatus of Glee. Dear lord that will be paaaainful.

Glee 1x06 Throwdown

The fact that they did the mash-ups on drugs is probably the most awesome thing I've seen in a while. When I watched It's my life/confessions from the preview, I was like 'WOW Finn looks bugged out, there's something really off about this' but now it makes sense haha. I think the boys would have won because I like their song better and they have Mike Chang dancing like a beast. But I loved the girls' performance, it was cute.

It's official - Puck and Kurt can stand within five feet of each other without bad-times happening! I have a feeling it's going to be a subtle progression from before into a mutual (yet silent) respect for one another, though I'm still hoping for a moment where Puck apologizes to Kurt & Artie for some conclusion. Also, I need an icon of the scene when Kurt and Puck are staring at Finn - best thing to come onto my television in a long time.

Mike Chang - the shy football player! I'm already starting to love him so much, and I don't even know why. He's a beast dancer. BUT I'm also beginning to ship Kurt/Mike, which is highly illogical I know but IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES. First of all, Mike's a football player - jock/gleek appeal? Check. According to his actor he's shy, and Kurt is obviously not shy. Cuteness of Kurt approaching Mike with his fierceness and making Mike all flustered? Check. Actual possibility of happening? Check!

Puck/Kurt/Mike is my favorite thing now. Usually I like one better than the other but I love both of them equally. RYAN MURPHY make one of them happen.

This episode was pretty Rachel/Quinn friendly! Quinn drawing pornographic drawings of Rachel on the bathroom walls? Rachel reaching out a hand to Quinn and getting her to join the glee club again? I love them. I can't wait for them to become best friends (because you know it's gonna happen). And is Quinn lucky or what? She's got a boyfriend who's a good guy and would be (I think at least) a good father, and then she has Rachel who still wants to support her, even though she tortured her and would continue doing so if their roles were reversed. Lucky lucky lucky. They are my true OT3 of this show, I ship it all ways.

And to be honest I don't really care about the whole Terri/Will/Emma/Ken stuff, I mean does anyone actually think Emma and Ken are going to stay married? Personally I feel bad for Ken, he seems like a nice guy and he really does love Emma but this is never going to work out. Terri's a bitch, so I'm not very sympathetic for her - but I am for Ken, since it's inevitable that both of them are going to get shafted when Emma/Will happens.

And it is my new resolve to start writing my journal the same way Sue does.

And Chris Colfer came out! I love him. And Yorks are the greatest candies/chocolates to ever be made. Ever.

OH MY GOD KEEP HOLDING ON IS ON HULU.
QUINN. I love her so much, I'm seriously close to crying. I love this performance so much. Rachel, I love you. Finn I love you. QUINN. And Quinn and Kurt dancing together was seriously cute. Stop it show, why are you doing this to me.

Okay guys, can we discuss the epicness of Mark tweeting a Kurt/Puck video? Because - damn right, we're on to you two. We have been since episode one. Also, I'm supremely jealous of the maker of that video - Mark bestowed a tweet unto that lucky soul.

And let's not forget about the rumors that Kurt is going to join in on the pentagon (Puck/Quinn/Finn/Rachel)? Those better not exist just to bait interest, goddamn. I'm not expecting him to actually get with either Finn or Puck, but I'll take anything I can get because I'm desperate like that.

Last night's episode of Supernatural was okay. Castiel was being adorable in it though, so I don't mind. And I never noticed before, but Sam is one fine fine guy. I always knew Dean was, but I neglected Sammy for some reason. Now I have been awakened.

Chapter 41 of Pandora Hearts: Gilbert carried Break on his back! That's pretty much all I retained from that chapter, not going to lie.

Was this entry just an excuse to use a Dean/Castiel icon? Maybe.

And I want to paint something, what should I paint...Hm.

Glee: 1x05 The Rhodes not Taken, Pandora Hearts

GLEE, you guys! OH MY GOD. Seriously, the best episode ever. Everything about it was perfectly done, I can't even begin to express. I can't think of a single thing I disliked, it was just. Completely perfect. ♥ Definitely one I will rewatch over and over.

But let me make a list of the things I loved anyway.
- Kristen Chenoweth, you are absolutely perfect for bringing on the cray cray. April Rhodes was awesome, and such an unashamedly bad influence on the kids (at first at least). Getting Kurt drunk, teaching Tina and Mercedes how to bling it up (through stealing), making out with Puck and seeing them come out of the shower together?! --Not exactly ethical, but the scenes/lines it spurred on: Beautiful. And her singing was phenomenal.
- Rachel--Oh my god, she had to pull the "i want to be your friend more than I want to be the star" line. I love her, and I love this goddamn glee club. This is what I've been waiting for you guys, their whole beginning to come together and LOVE each other, asdfja;ldsfa. And her moments with Finn were sweet. Finn's "Are you sure this is your first time doing this?" was adorable. And props to Cory, because I honestly couldn't tell if Finn was acting with Rachel or if he genuinely liked her, which was what he was going for I think. And it made me feel fuzzy inside. (I DID LOL at his seductive phase though). Also props to her for saying her dream was bigger than Finn.
- Puck, even Puck is growing on me more now. He was good this episode, though I don't know why he would announce that Quinn's pregnant...what was that? That was jerkish. But at least he wasn't angsting at the same time (I love this episode because there was really not that much angst in it or relationship ~drama~)
- KURT. I'm pretty sure every episode I have something about Kurt. Okay, let's first address the whole muscle men's magazines? Awesome. Get it, bb! And him drunk was strangely adorable; you never see him look like crap, and to see him so...not typically Kurt was enjoyable. And then gossiping!Kurt was amazing, he was so enthusiastic about Finn getting Quinn pregnant for some reason lol. And I find it interesting that Puck was like "It's so obvious you guys. you probably thought Ernie and Bert were just roomates". You know, I really do think he's actually smarter than he lets on. His lines are... I don't know, they've got this wit to them. Maybe I'm crazy though. Back to Kurt: I find his dancing kind of weird but it's cute anyway, haha. And Kurt/April dancing was ♥ and so was Kurt doing Santana's eyeliner! I want to see more Kurt&Santana, wouldn't it be awesome if they became friends? It seems like he gets along well with the cheerleaders too.
-OOOh and there's probably so much more, but I'll write it when I remember it.

Best episode so far. Somebody to love was mother f-cking amazing. I wish Artie had gotten his solo, but I can't even really complain about that right now I'm still so high off this amazing episode. BRB watching again.

Pandora Hearts!
I've been kind of a recluse from the manga world but this series' art was just too pretty, I couldn't resist. The story is decent, it picks up at some points and drags at others, but the art is wonderful and the way the manga-ka colors = ♥. Also, it has plenty of those adorably corny, but-you-need-them-in-your-life speeches where the character overcomes their angst and becomes stronger for others and whatnot (or something to that effect).

Break is my favorite character by far, I love him. He's an eccentric guy, and he's in the background enough so that you want to know more about him. I might have payed a lot more attention to his parts as I read the manga than I did to others, but is that such a crime? </obviously biased>. I also like Gilbert, though sometimes I think he needs to find something more to do than obsess about Oz lol (very unpopular opinion, I know; it's getting static to me now though). But I like it when he freaks out or gets angry. I also like his and Alice's relationship, Oz&Gil&Alice is one of the cutest trios ever.

And Break/Gilbert is totally my OTP of this series, you guys. They've got ten years of back story and enough screwed upness/tsundere-ness/friendship to be one heck of a ship. They keep each other in check; Break warning Gilbert not to let his devotion go crazy, Gilbert always telling Break to stop...being Break, their 'use me and I'll use you' 10-year long deal. And they do care about each other, even though it's never explicitly stated, you know they do. And they rival each other in power and assertiveness, and --

POTENTIAL, it's there. Just saying ♥. Take note, fic writers.

So I know what you're thinking, why would you want to watch Flashforward?

THIS is why you should want to watch Flashforward:

Plus the pilot was pretty good, I am definitely hooked. God damn it stop making me want to waste time, television!

No surprise, the reason why I started watching because I heard that John Cho was in it! I went to the student center and this is how it went. Me: What are you doing down here?
Friend: Just watching TV.
Me: What are you watching?
Friend: Flashforward, the new show
Me: THE ONE WITH JOHN CHO IN IT?!
Friend: Yeah I think so.
Me: I"M THERE!!! *gets up and drops everything*

And only to go over and find out that apparently during the two minutes, John Cho (I don't even know his character name, failure) saw NOTHING. Which means he probably died. So, that's right, I got hooked on a show where John Cho, the reason why I even bothered, is going to die. And I found that out within the first forty five seconds of watching. But I'm hooked so of course I'm going to keep watching and hope that it's supposed to be a red herring sort of deal, please oh please don't die John Cho.

And then they started watching Grey's anatomy and I left.

Glee 1.04 "Preggers"

Overall good episode! The weird thing about the show is that there are a lot of parts that grate on me, and then others that I LOVE. I just don't understand.

Things I loved:
+ Single Ladies. Awesomest thing to ever awesome. Kurt is so fierce, GET IT BB! ♥ I wish we knew why Brittany was dancing with them, considering she's a cheerio and I don't see why she'd hang with Kurt and Tina? Speaking of Kurt and Tina: "I'm not ready to be exclusive just yet" and Tina's aggravated look. Lovelovelove. AND ALSO THE FOOTBALL TEAM DOING IT. It was pure awesome, so much awesome I nearly combusted right there on the spot.
+ Kurt. Oh fabulous, fabulous Kurt how I love you. He's the cutest thing to ever cute. He's still got his superiority thing going on. And also the coming out scene was pretty sweet. The whole exchange. "I'm gay." "I know. Ever since you were 3. All you wanted was a pair of sensible heels." BABY KURT, still as fabulous as he is now.
+ TINA GETTING A SOLO!! I CHEERED WHEN WILL SAID SHE WOULD GET ONE. Girl needs the spot light, and she looked happy when she got it. And how much of a team player is was so sweet. ♥ I think that added to my rage about how selfish Rachel was being, seeing how Tina was so willing to take one for the team when Rachel obviously wasn't. =\
+ Quinn. I'm starting to love her more and more with every episode, her giggling into her pom pom was unbelievably adorable. I don't like that she's pregnant though, I hope it was a false positive or something. That is going to be such a mess.
+ Finn/Kurt was pretty abundant in this episode! I don't hardcore ship it, but Finn was so chill when he thought Kurt was asking him to the prom lmao. And also before football try outs, he seemed really fond of Kurt. It totally tugged on my heart strings. No wonder Kurt's in love with him.

Things I didn't love so much:
+ Rachel. Rachel, Rachel, Rachel. Come here, sit down honey. We need to talk. You have to understand that the Glee Club isn't all about you. Will wasn't just giving the solo to Tina to spite you. Maybe he actually thought someone else should get the god damn solo for once to work on their confidence. And listen dear, I don't know what your logic is but joining glee club is not going to get you a boy friend or make you more popular and it's not glee's fault when it doesn't happen. That's not glee's purpose of existence. So please: STFD and be a team member every once in a while.
+ It's weird but Will is starting to frustrate me. Something about him is coming off to me wrong.
+ Puck angsting about Quinn. Already kind of tired of it. Maybe it was too early but I didn't sympathize. Yeah, okay, his best friend has the girl he pines after. He plays second fiddle to Finn. SAD, SO SAD. Doesn't change that he's been a complete DOUCHE to everyone. He's been a douche to Finn his best friend, to Kurt on a regular basis, to Artie (a handicapped kid for Christ's sake), hell, even to QUINN the girl he pines after so much. I'm not riding the Puck hate train or anything, but I think it would've been better if it waited. I can't buy that I'm supposed to feel bad for someone who's a loser when he's such an immature asshole at the same time.
+ All this drama, goddamn. If I wanted to watch a soap opera I would turn on one tree hill. This show is supposed to be gleeful, this whole Finn/Quinn/Puck/Rachel/Finn love like dodecagon is not only boring it's straining. And the predictability of Glee is starting to scare me, because everyone's called what happened so far. From like a mile away.
+ Also this episode kind of turned me off from Puck/Kurt. I mean, not turn me off. It just seems like it's NEVER going to happen now. And in addition with all the drama, I think I'm going to start like groaning every time I see Puck lol. I still ship them but in the back of my mind I need to find someone new to ship Kurt with...

Okay...it looks like the negatives outweigh the positives, but I DID like this episode! But some parts of them make me... :(

Glee 1.03 Acafellas

TOTALLY AMAZING, OH MY GOD. ♥♥

Kurt is officially my favorite of the show. He got a lot of screen time in this episode, and he was awesome in every scene he was in. And I'm still expecting some sort of pic spam with all his outfits, because they are so adorable and he wears them so well (although some are kind of horrific. The first one...what was on his head?!). I mean, the hoodie, the red jacket thing, the white jacket thing, a corset, his collection of tiaras? Amazing.

And I love Kurt/Mercedes friendship, they are so adorable and they relate to each other so much. Mercedes was also amazing in this ep! And the parts that I both overflowed with love and kind of cringed at were the parts where Kurt was said he was in love with someone, PAN TO FINN. Awkward. But it's now canon that he has a crush on Finn, sooner than I expected but still idgaf it's Kurt. Another part was when he was talking to Mercedes and coming out, and it was so touching and his self deprecating sort of smile and then he had that single tear of sadness lol (I don't know why I just lol no matter what at a single tear running down one's face), but then he had that line "I guess I'm just not confident enough" and he like stood straighter and swallowed to stop crying and walked away and my HEART BROKE. KURT!

And also the comment about his aerosol voice, lmao. Gah, I love this show so much. So far it's been such a swingy relationship between this show and I. But yes, I love Kurt. A lot.

What? There were other characters? OH yeah! Other things I liked about it was Puck and his douchey narration. "I have star potential!", "Cougars never let you down!" and "My bowel movements have better moves than you! *pushes Finn into music stand*" (At least he knows the word bowel, and on that note: oh Finn, cliché? Really dear?). Also boy has moves and can sing. And anyone else catch the Puck/Sue? Don't know what to make of that. But haha at Santana breaking up with him for financial reasons. This show is awesome.

Other notable things, Rachel was awesome this episode. Her self confidence and her adorable "I'm Sorry" cookies, I really like her a lot more now. And I'm so happy to see that she's not just a lovesick teenage girl, but that her career means more to her than a boy. I have immense respect for that. Also "gayvention", haha. Artie and Tina are still in need in more lines, though. But now my faith is kind of elevating because I was so happy with this episode.

And next episode is going to be even better. OH god, next wednesday come sooner please.

Other news, The Office starts tomorrow and I took the SAT/ACT today. It was torturous.

Two words sum up my life: School and Glee

Okay, so it's been thirteen days into the school year and I'm already dying. There's just so much work to do and I'm completely overwhelmed, I barely have any time not dedicated to homework to be honest. BUT so is the way of junior year, the difficulty of which is even worse than the average school because I made the mistake of going to one of those freaky vocational magnet schools. Alas...my young self was clearly a masochist for even considering applying.

On that note, Spanish IB is eating away at my soul. So many people in my class are beasts at spanish, speaking fifty words a second, and I'm just like "Hola como estas". Also, physics is too. I'm so physics illiterate, partly because my teacher is so boring I cannot maintain consciousness (literally, I wish I was exaggerating) and the homework is on a completely different level than anything we do in class.

To sum it up: My life is a progressive transition from failure to failure.

Glee! Lea Michelle sings songs amazingly. She really puts emotion into it, and it's so moving. "On my own" and "Take a Bow" are songs where she really showcases her ability to back up the lyrics with feeling, better than even the original artists I think (or at least Rihana). I know a lot of people hate her because of her personality, but anyone who denies that she has at least some talent/skills is somewhat delusional.

And nudge nudge for Puck/Kurt shippers, I requested childhood fic, and lo' and behold: Puck&Kurt! ♥ Not that shippy but imagining ten year old Kurt and Puck pretty much having the same dynamic they do now is cute and I hope there's more either with them or the other characters
(And if by some crazy chance the filler is reading this: THANK YOU AGAIN! ♥). Also 1001cranes's not-fic over here which you really just have to read for yourself, but it is definitely filled with ideas that guarantee 100% customer (reader?) satisfaction. THERE SHOULD BE MORE LIKE THESE *looks expectingly at you all*.

AND finally there's a glee kink meme (you don't have a real fandom until you have one, after all!). I kind of like how they all involve Chris Colfer/Kurt in some way so far, lmao (though there are only four prompts so far, which I would definitely remedy if I did not feel guilty requesting without filling anything. But still, they'd all be Chris Colfer/Kurt related...That wouldn't change). It's like watching your baby grow up and go off to college! /tears up

On the subject of Kurt, maybe I'm just crazy, but seeing his fierceness/fabulousity kind of makes me want to be more fabulous myself, haha. I usually just wear whatever as long as it's comfortable, but then now I'm like "Kurt would HATE that" or "He'd NEVER wear that". My brain works in weird ways. Especially considering that some of Kurt's outfits I give a resounding NO to (as Chris says...he thinks they're pranks but they never are). Point? I love the boy so much I want to marry him, basically.

Summary: One time Rachel envies Quinn and one time Quinn envies Rachel (but according to them, neither ever happened).
Notes: Short one-shot I wrote ages ago. Figured I would post it before the season starts!

First Day of High school

Rachel practically bursts through the doors, carving a path through a sea of awkward freshmen. There's a fire burning in her eyes and a confidence in her step that could only be produced by steadfast determination. She's murmuring a mantra that she has said religiously throughout the entire summer in preparation: Rachel Berry, you're going to be the best. People are finally going to open their eyes and see that you're not a loser, a nobody like you were in middle school. You've got something special and extraordinary. All you have to do is prove it.

It starts with today, she thinks.

And she's completely prepared for it, too. She's wearing the cutest clothes she's ever worn and has a pack of 15 sheets of golden star stickers quipped on hand at all times. The second she finds her locker she puts one on each side of her locker number, then carefully writes out her full name with those little gleaming stars. They remind her of broadway lights, and she smiles because one day they will be.

Rachel's so immersed in her daydreams, she almost doesn't notice the girl with blonde curls walking up to the next locker, staring at her like she's some foreign animal at the zoo. But Quinn Fabray has never been and never will be that easily ignorable, and everyone knows that. It's just one of those facts of life. She's got a smile, a sneer, and a cheerleading uniform that make her stick out like bright, fresh paint on dull white canvas.

Rachel bites her lip. She knows how important that quality is.

The future broadway star pretends not to see the cheerleader.

(and it kills her that she's still the same loser RuPaul by the end of freshman year.)

A Myspace Video

Quinn has established her position at the absolute top of the high school food chain by the first week of her freshmen year. All of the upperclassmen know her name already, and whisper that her accomplishment is an astounding social phenomenon. That she's an inspiration for all future high school students who wish to attain ultimate status and unbending popularity. That she's practically a goddess, now.

She smirks. Of course she's all of those things. She's amazing. Quinn Fabray has known it all along, and she relays it in every grin so that those who are unaware will know too. She's all for education, after all.

There's a pretty popular misconception that Quinn is just a stupid bimbo, and that she's only popular because she's hot. Quinn will admit that she is insanely hot, but the rest of that is nonsense. Anyone who honest to god thinks that she is just another pretty cheerleader is kidding themselves, because in order to reach her level of popularity, you've got to be tactful.

For example, she acknowledges the importance of social networking. Many think that myspace is a mindless, deprecating waste of time. Quinn agrees that it is--but not the way she uses it. Manipulation requires meticulous care. A compliment here (OMG dat lookz SOOOOO good on u lol beaautiful <3). An "I <3 U ;) ur my bffl lol" there. It makes her elementary school spelling bee champion mourn, but her friends list is slowly reaching the seven-hundreds, and she's a top friend for nearly five hundred of them.

That's how powerful social networking is. You can be somebody's top friend, and never have to meet them. It's beautiful.

One night, she receives an IM from Santana:

Quinn clicks on the link, and just as she suspected, the page loads and she's looking at a photo of Rachel smiling like she was on the first day of school--with ambition. The cheerleader's almost hesitant, but she pushes that feeling back and forces herself to click on Rachel's latest video. As it's loading, she notices a flood of nasty comments on the bottom already. She's mildly wondering if she's going to have to post one too when the video starts.

Rachel's standing in the middle, staring at the camera with focus. She announces that she's going to sing some song from some broadway show that Quinn doesn't really care about. When Rachel starts explaining the emotional value and impact the song has had on her, Quinn thinks that that is probably the hilarious part of the video, less hilarious as it is sad to her, because who would listen any longer?

She's about to click the 'x' in the corner when Rachel finally starts to sing. Quinn stops.

The cheerleader had always known that Rachel was unhealthily obsessed with broadway, practically a "broadway freakazoid" as Puck puts it. But despite her intelligence, somehow she never really thought that she'd be good at singing. Or to be more accurate, the thought never passed through her mind. But she's good. Supremely good, actually.

Amazing. That's the only word to describe the way Rachel belts the lyrics of some soul-twisting song that's never had any relevance in Quinn's life until now. Even the way Rachel's face moves as she sings is amazing to her. Her eyes light up and close in concentration at all the right verses, and the words linger on her lips like they're reluctant to leave.

Quinn swallows. It's not fair.

It's at that moment that Quinn realizes that whatever Rachel does, she does with passion. A passion that melds her entire body and soul with some out-dated broadway show tune, and uses her voice to create art. Pure unadulterated art, and as lame as that sounds, Quinn believes it more than anything. If there was ever a blessing God gave anyone, it was to Rachel Berry.

She'd rather die than ever admit it.

Quinn doesn't do compliments to losers like Rachel. She's popular. She has it all right now. She's not giving it all up.

And to prove it, Quinn writes the nastiest comment out of all of them. She writes that Rachel can't sing for her life, that she looks like a tranny, and to stop embarrassing herself in public. That listening makes her want to kill herself. It's almost a race between her fingers and her conscience, because she knows that if she doesn't press 'send' soon enough, her guilt will catch up with her. Make her stop.

It doesn't even make any sense. She's said things far worse, far nastier without hesitation. If Sue were sitting next to her right now, she'd be mocking her for going soft. Quinn's horrified that maybe she is. Because of Rachel Berry.

When she sees 'Comment successfully posted!', she reassures herself that her popularity is worth more than one tiny lie. But the word 'Liar" won't stop ringing in her head.

I saw Avenue Q today, and it was absolutely amazing and hilarious! I'm so glad I got to see it before it closes (though I still can't get over the fact it's closing), my life would never be complete without it. The cast was really good, they all could sing and act. Acting is a really important part, I think. When I saw Phantom of the Opera, none of them could act, so the entire thing was more hilarious than it was moving. Anyway, the cast was also really nice, I got my program signed by the people who played Brian (my friend and I actually couldn't recognize who the guy was until we realized much later, lol) and Christmas Eve! Though the person who played Princeton and Rod ran off in the other direction with his head down right after the play, lmao.

School's starting for me in ten days. =[ Junior year is going to be killer. I really, really hope that I can handle the stress. Right now I'm barely handling the pressure of going back. OTL Glee will probably be my guiding light, lol. The music and characters make me feel so happy, it's just what I need after a long week. I'm so excited it's going to start, eeee!

Going to Taiwan tomorrow! I can't wait. I'm not that excited about seeing family, but it's been so long since I've been immersed in asian culture. I think we're also stopping by an airport in Tokyo, eeeee ♥! I'm planning to take lots of photos and stuff. =D
