Sinterklaas
Back from "Pakjesavond". Mostly got drawing related stuff, like a sh*tload of pencils, some fineliners, erasers and such. So I guess I will be drawing more these coming times. Which only leads me to wonder whether I should care to keep my furnation-page updated more. Or maybe I should strive to get into VCL or something. Blah. ^_^
Had some chuckles and such. The festivities were held at my cousin's place in Hilversum. She and her boyfriend moved there a while ago and this was my first time there. In case someone's wondering, it's not that far from
pegla's pad, but it certainly ain't in walking distance either. Unless you like lengthy walks, that is. ^_~
The family was in awfully good spirits. I actually felt like I was part of the whole thing. Guess I'm just one of those guys who does get along with his family. Lucky me! And I'm also glad to report that my "surprise"-gift wasn't the most lame one of the evening. To my own surprise it even was one of the best, not to mention the included traditional rhyme slash poem.
So, as dear Saint Nicolaas departs we await other holidays. And thus I'll again make the annual announcement that the doors will be opened on New Year's Eve to those of my friends who would like to drop by or even stay over. More on that in a later post, as I'm sure that more people would read an LJ-entry made by day, rather than late-nighters like these. o_o'
