Whoo. Just got back from seeing Kill Bill with 
nefariouscory. And with "just" I do mean "just", as in "a few minutes ago". Being over two hours since I left Cory's place I will hereby state once again: public transportation is murder. o_o Sure, it's a mere 20 kilometers from door to door, about a 25 minute drive under good circumstances and it would probably take me just over 45 minutes by bicycle. Yet, by missing just one bus, it takes a whopping 2 hours by public transport. *grumble* >_< Guess the only thing I should be thankful for is the fact that there is a direct line from Amsterdam to my home town. *sigh*
But anyway, the movie was just fab! Bloody as bloody can be, but laden with gags, references to other movies and just plain brilliant shots. A definite recommendation to all, except those with very weak stomachs. And I must get a hold of that soundtrack one day, just spiffy!
Pre-movie Cory and I quickly hit MacDangerous. She already was a tad bit on the late side ^_~, plus we both didn't have any dinner. So about ten minutes later we had scrounged down some chicken nuggets, French fries and a salad.
Post-movie I stopped by at Cory's place. Until tonight I had never realized how easily reachable her place really is. Sure, I have been around that neighbourhood several times, but tonight she showed me a back road, she so lovingly dubbed "Rapist's road", which for me put everything into place. At her pad I quickly made good as a pillow for her cats. ^_^ Hmmm, makes me wish I had a cat.
And after that I left for home, but you've already read about that.
