All for the company
Woh, I hadn't planned on arriving home at this time. Originally the plan was to head home after college, pick up some stuff and head on over to 
jonesybunny. Unfortunately, as I arrived at the university, it seemed I had "conveniently" forgotten the company dinner afterwards. >_< So after a few quick phonecalls an alternate plan was formed.
Pre-dinner we presented the website and all. It still needs some work, mainly in the "content"-department, but for those who want to take a peek you can find it at www.netherware.nl. We mainly received praise for it, which is good. The current state of the beat'm up-game was discussed thereafter, which was fairly... pre-pre-pre-alpha.
So after college our professor and boss gave us a lift to a nearby restaurant. We had dinner and discussed several things, like anime (Excel Saga, X - TV, Ghibli-stuff), manga (price comparison between various shops), Star Wars ("No, the second one was better!"), games (Soul Calibur 2), J-Pop (Eurobeat, Ayumi Hamasaki, a local J-Pop party), the usual stuff. As someone mentioned doing a paper upon computers and art I gave him a brief introduction to the demoscene. Surprisingly enough one of the team members remembered watching the intro "Heaven7", being fairly impressed by it. I gave them a link to scene.org, which imho is the best place for a quick introduction to demos in general.
After this I got the chance to briefly showcase some of the stuff I'm working on for the beat'm up. The initial responses were quite nice, and I'll rig up a better demo of the soundtrack this coming week.
So, afterwards we went our separate ways and I returned home. Guess I won't be making it to Jones' tonight, but that do leaves me time to do some extra packing. Tomorrow morning I'll leave first thing... of course after having gotten up, getting washed, getting dressed and getting breakfast. ^_~
