"Hello World"
Having arrived back from vacation I must say: I've missed y'all, vewy vewy much. ^-^
Vacation turned out to be far from the well-deserved-break it should have been. Instead it was hectic, some deep stuff happening in my family as a certain sibling of mine had troubles with her puberty. Not to mention the outrageous weather. I mean, sun is certainly nice and all but getting sunburn on the second day already, oi! And then I find that the hot weather has followed me home, whilst I was kind of hoping returning to The Netherlands would cool me down. :)
Before I start on a vacational-rant about what little excitement I had, let me take a gander at what has been happening in your lives. */me reads LJ-posts for about half an hour* Oi, deep stuff as well. I do hope everything is okay now, you people know who you are. Let me just stress to you once again that if you need some support, whether morally, financially or just plain for-the-sake-of-being-there, I'll do what's in my power to be there for you.
Now, let me continue with a short impression of what my vacation looked like: beach, shopping, beach, shopping, beach, shopping and so on. And I mean that in a not-so-good way. Granted, going to the beach and shopping can be fun but when that's all you can do it bores quite easily.
In the few precious moments I had to myself I wasted them away either on my GP32 playing NES games or working on sketches, all whom are unfinished at the moment.
In the coming days I'll probably randomly rant a few more times about my vacation. It wasn't all that bad, let's just say it was a different experience. And it's exactly that experience why I'm never going to spend an entire summer holiday with my folks again.
To summarize it all: there's no place like home. I'd have to say, truer words were never spoken.
Edit: seems like the heatwave suddenly disappeared. Cooling down really fast outside! Ah! :)
