The Social Engineering Village hosts a live contest where participants attempt to extract sensitive information from real companies via phone (vishing) using OSINT (Open Source Intelligence). Rounds take place before a live audience in a soundproof booth. Participants are judged on preparation, technique, and results. One of the most captivating events at Hackfest.

Hackfest Generations is a space dedicated to young technology and cybersecurity enthusiasts. Adapted activities allow participants to discover the basics of ethical hacking, programming, and information security in a supportive and supervised environment. The Ham Radio Village opens the doors to the fascinating world of radio communications. Discover software-defined radio (SDR), RF protocols, satellite reception and much more. Licensed operators are on site to demonstrate the possibilities offered by amateur radio and answer your questions about this often overlooked aspect of communications security.

The Hackfest NOC (Network Operations Center), operated by Palo Alto Networks, monitors the entire event network infrastructure in real time.
