As of version 1.5.0, the standalone Guix System can be installed on an i686, x86_64, or AArch64 machine. It uses the Linux-Libre kernel and the GNU Shepherd init system. Alternately, GNU Guix can be installed as an additional package manager on top of an installed Linux-based system.

Mainly for simple installation on a blank storage device where everything else on it will be deleted. Plug in an Ethernet cable or one of the few compatible WiFi cards for Internet access. Then follow the manual.

The AArch64 image is experimental. It is for devices using UEFI. In case of any issues please do report them to the issue tracker.
