Key milestones for GirlScript Summer of Code 2026
GSSoC 2026 kicks off live! Attend the launch event for a walkthrough of the program, track guide, and the Cloudinary bonus session.
Applications are reviewed and participants are selected. Contributors, mentors, project admins, and ambassadors are confirmed for the program.
Selected participants are onboarded. Projects go live, contributors pick their issues, mentors are assigned, and the building begins.
The main program period. Contributors work on projects, submit PRs, build agents, earn points, and climb the leaderboard.
All contributions are evaluated, leaderboards are finalized, and top contributors across both tracks are recognized and rewarded.
Every contribution counts. The leaderboard tracks your progress in real time, earn points, climb ranks, and get recognized at the end of the program.
