The Self-Creation Process serves as the foundation of Groundwork Promotions and it’s based on the idea that “we create ourselves through outward expression.” The entire promotions process becomes “outward expression” and a way of creating ourselves, our businesses, and our organizations. The idea is, if you can imagine what you want, articulate it, and capture it, you can create it. Self-Creation allows us to use promotional content in all its forms: video, photography, social media, websites, and blogs. With this content, we create online media, which you can see, hear, feel, and meditate on. This allows you to continuously think about what you want to accomplish professionally and personally every day and make it possible.

Paul Holze is President of Groundwork Promotions and is in charge of day-to-day operations. He meets with clients, he conducts interviews, and he assesses the clients’ needs and informs them of services and options. During the first 10 years of business, we did many projects for clients in single service form, meaning we only made a website, or created a video, or took some photos. Maybe we managed their social media, or did some consulting. All these experiences were wonderful, but they work against who we are and what we believe in.

The first step is the interview. When we interview our clients, we listen and learn about them. We ask them about their goals, purpose, and vision for what they do. With this information, we define a path forward. We make a plan, devise a strategy, and execute on it.
Align
Along with defining a path for the promotions process, we also make sure your social media, your website, your marketing, and everything you are doing online are all aligned and communicating the same messages, and being guided by the same vision and goals.
Execute
Once we finish our interview process and align all your social media and other online platforms, and once we define a strategy and plan for your promotions going forward, then we execute and start marketing and promoting your business or organization.

Our Team
Paul Holze and Stephanie Stean met in 2004 in a World Religions class at the University of Illinois. Stephanie was the graduate instructor and Paul was the student, and they immediately became friends. Paul introduced Stephanie to social media in 2005, and they both fell in love with communication, creativity, and content creation online. Thus began their path to the creation and founding of Groundwork Promotions.
Stephanie Stean is Founder of Groundwork Promotions and the Self-Creation Process, which serves as the foundation for Groundwork Promotions.
With vision and purpose, we designed a unique model and process for marketing and promotions online.
Paul Holze is Founder and President of Groundwork Promotions.
We have years of experience in documentary-style video and photography, as well as marketing, promotions, social media, and web development. We have bilingual skills with Spanish/English, linguistic training and we have worked internationally in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Ecuador, Mexico and across the United States.
