GreenCloud founded
GreenCloud was officially established in October 2013, building on our prior experience in providing website design and hosting services to local businesses. Our main goals have remained consistent since day one: to redefine the hosting industry and offer the most affordable and powerful VPS solutions to our customers.

More locations
Starting with our first location in North Carolina, we rapidly expanded our Windows VPS plans to multiple locations across the US, Canada, and Europe, including France and the Netherlands.

New KVM plans
This year GreenCloud still expanded to more locations in the US and announced our new Linux VPS plans based on KVM Virtualization. Our first APAC location was launched in Hanoi, Vietnam.

APAC expansion
During these years, 2 new APAC locations were added: Singapore and Tokyo, JP along with a number of new locations in the US. We are where our customers need us to be.

macOS VPS & Forex VPS
We launched macOS VPS on the latest Apple hardware, allowing users to run any Mac software and develop iOS and Xcode apps. A few months later, we added Forex VPS, offering high-performance solutions for Forex trading. Additionally, we expanded to Hong Kong, China, marking our fourth APAC location.

NVMe plans
While other providers were still using SATA and SSD drives, we introduced Windows NVMe VPS and Linux NVMe VPS. NVMe drives are up to 25 times faster than SATA drives and 5 times faster than standard SSDs.

Ryzen
In response to customer demand, we introduced Ryzen KVM VPS, running on NVMe drives to deliver exceptional single-core performance. Additionally, we launched a new site, GreenKVM, featuring great offers.

Standard 10Gbps network
In 2022, we upgraded our network to 10Gbps in almost all locations and added new locations such as San Jose, CA (USA), equipped with the latest hardware including Ryzen 5950X, EPYC Milan, and NVMe Gen4.

10 years in business
GreenCloud continues to expand rapidly. In 2023, we moved into a newly owned office building, providing more workspace for our employees. This year also marks a significant milestone as we celebrate 10 years in business.

VirtFusion Control Panel
We continue to invest heavily in new hardware and technology. We are proud to have been named the #3 Top Provider and #4 Most Reliable Provider on LowEndTalk. Additionally, we've added the VirtFusion Control Panel to our KVM VPS plans, which includes advanced features such as backups, cloud-init, and more.
