Randee’s gentle letters read like they are coming from a friend, because they are. Kind reminders to be still for a moment and contemplate intention. Randee references Gene Keys after each letter, and provides a means of reflection on them.
Kyle's writing is wild and intelligent. His views are sometimes controversial, but he does not apologize or back off. Although we differ in opinions on some things, I always enjoy his posts and appreciate his openness to dialogue. His fiction is fantastic. I detect notes of Stephen King in his work.
Joakim is a shining light of humanity. His work is brilliant, unique, and full of compassion. If you have not read him yet, may I suggest starting here. His visual essays are magic. https://open.substack.com/pub/arkivejournal/p/the-herd-and-the-mirror?r=2blne2&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Helen is an incredibly gifted, prolific writer. I find her quite funny, and enjoy her notes almost as much as her posts. If you have not been so lucky to have read this incredibly popular piece, it is not a bad place to start: https://helenhigginsbooks1.substack.com/p/the-erotics-of-intelligence-what
What can I say about A.G. Giberson? Do you like having your heart ripped out and then delicately replaced and stitched back into place? This is what it is like to read her. Every word is excruciatingly real, and hauntingly beautiful. I just adore her. This piece was so relatable to me, and really drew me in for more. If you can make space for pain, and growth, this is a great place to start. https://open.substack.com/pub/autumngiberson/p/dear-little-me?r=2blne2&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Scott's reflections on scripture are gentle and without piousness. They are for the believer and non-believer alike. I appreciate his approach to the text and the messages within. All are welcome here.
