Auto Formatter

This plugin automatically formats form field entries to ensure clean, uniform data collection. The plugin offers a range of formatting options including automatic capitalization, case formatting, and controlling the type of characters users can enter in real-time. This eliminates common issues with inconsistent data entry and improves overall form readability.

In addition to auto-formatting, the plugin includes advanced features like blacklisting specific text, copying values automatically between fields, and setting fields as read-only or disabled when necessary. It can also obscure user input (without using a password field) with an optional toggle, turn off autocomplete and spellcheck, and enforce either matching or non-matching inputs in form validation. These features help streamline form completion, improve data validation, and protect sensitive inputs.

The Auto Formatter further offers customization capabilities such as custom text replacement, removing HTML tags and PHP code from inputs, and appending text before or after field entries. A quiz or form review page option lets users double-check their input before submission.

Advanced Conditional Logic

Description

Create multiple groups of conditional logic per form field. This plugin was originally created by one of the Gravity Wiz developers.

According to the author, the GitHub gist was created as a proof-of-concept, not intended for production use. The idea for this plugin was abandoned after it became clear that Gravity Forms was working on similar functionality.

The code was adopted by McDonnell and is sold as a commercial plugin at the time of writing.

Advanced Conditional Logic for Gravity Forms by McDonnell.nz extends the default conditional logic features available in Gravity Forms. It allows for multiple groups of conditional logic on a single field, enabling more complex rules that can better control form behavior and visibility. Additional operators such as “Does NOT Contain,” “In CSV,” and “Not in CSV” provide greater precision by allowing conditional checks against lists of values or exclusions. This plugin works not only with fields but also with form buttons, notifications, and confirmations, enhancing the flexibility of multi-page forms and user interactions.
