in PS7 in only a few steps!
First, I cropped my base the way I wanted it:
It was blurry, so I sharpened it once:
Next, I duplicated my base and desaturated it:
I set my desaturated layer to overlay opacity 100%:
Next, I added a fill layer filled with #B08080 and set it to overlay at 100%:
That's it! Add text and brushes to your heart's content and you're
done! (I used "porcelain" size 24 in black and a brush made by me on
mine).
