How to go from this to this:

Step one:
I cropped my base:


Step two:
I added a layer of #001234 at difference with the opacity at 41%:


Step three:
I added another layer of #001234 at exclusion with the opacity at 23%:


Step four:
I added this gradient (made by me) between the difference and exclusion layers at lighten, opacity 82%:




Step five:
I duplicated my base and dragged it to the top. I set it to soft light, opacity 60%:


Step six:
I went back to my base and sharpened it, then went into edit>>fade sharpen>>70%. And finally, I added my text between the difference layer and the gradient, and that's it! =)
