My current project focuses on making the information layer of our design system more accessible in useful ways to AI tooling and humans alike. I spoke a bit about how our team is thinking about this work at Figma’s Schema conference last year.

Fun fact: did you know that LA—a place famous for its myopic, car-brained worldview—has “secret” pedestrian stairways and cut-throughs all over the city? It feels subversive to even know these exist. I’ve been exploring many of them on my urban hikes. [Strava]

LA’s drivers—and its general infrastucture—are absolutely hostile to pedestrians. But also, it’s much more walkable than you might think.
